The Queen's Space Fleet
The Mazone fleet is headed for Earth. Daiba is ready to fight but Captain Harlock insists that they return to Earth before they face the Mazone. He needs to visit Mayu first.
The Arcadia returns to space after Captain Harlock has visited with Mayu. Captain Harlock is visited by a Mazone dignitary. He lets her leave after she has said her peace but Daiba goes after her and blows up her spaceship. His ship is damaged and his oxygen supply is low. He goes a little crazy but the crew of the Arcadia rescue him.
The Arcadia encounters the Mazone fleet. They destroy a large amount of the fleet but then they notice another Mazone fleet. Yattaran is ready to go after it but Captain Harlock is sure that it is a trap. The Mazone are trying to lure them further and further away from Earth.
Daiba recovers. Captain Harlock is happy to see Daiba get over what was bothering him.
Thoughts
There seems to be a lot of emphasis on Daiba's mental state in this series. This has to be some sort of commentary.
Where is this all going? I'm still not loving this show but I am still trying to figure it out. The first four episodes of the series led up to Daiba joining the Arcadia. These last four seemed to focus on Daiba getting used to how things work on the Arcadia.
