Where I Really Come From
Omni-Man explains to Invincible that he was really sent to Earth to prepare it for subjugation by the Viltrumite Empire. Invincible can't accept this and fights back. Omni-Man beats him to a pulp and kills hundreds, possibly thousands, of people in the process. Omni-Man almost kills his son but in the end he flies off into space after reflecting on a memory from when his son was about 10 years younger.
The Guardians of the Globe, during the big fight, want to help but they know that they are no match for Omni-Man. They settle for saving people where they can instead.
The Mauler Twins wind up back in prison.
Debbie is devastated by what happens. Thanks to Cecil's tech she overhears the conversations between Mark and Nolan. She has trouble processing what she hears.
Eve, Will, and Amber learn that they all know who Mark and his father really are.
The episode ends with Mark meeting up with the one-eyed alien once again.
Thoughts
The fight between Invincible and Omni-Man is the first half of the episode. Everything else happens in the second half. The fight was the climax of the episode and the season. There was a little too much for me after the fight in this episode.
I'm not chomping at the bit for more Invincible. I can wait. I will probably give season 2 a try.
