Follow that Space Cab!
Lobo attacks Superman while he is escorting Mr. Mind to prison. Space Cabbie gets caught in the middle of the dispute. Superman needs a little help and puts out a distress call. Hawkman answers the call and quickly joins the Man of Steel. Space Cabbie is left to deal with Mr. Mind who escapes into the dashboard of the Space Cab.

This was fun. I don't recall seeing Space Cabbie before in any cartoons.
Space Cabbie first appeared in Mystery in Space 21 (Sep 1954). Space Cabbie also appeared in Mystery in Space 24 and 26-47 (Oct 1958). Only three of those stories have been reprinted, according to my research. His only appearance outside of the issues of Mystery in Space named above, prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths, was in DC Comics Presents 78 (Feb 1985). Space Cabbie's only encounter with Lobo in comic books was in Lobo 21 (Nov 1995).
Lobo first appeared in Omega Men 3 (Jun 1983). He went on to become very popular and have his own series. Space Cabbie appeared in Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe but Lobo did not. Lobo did not appear in the original edition of Who's Who or the 1987 of 1988 updates. His first appearance in Who's Who wasn't until Who's Who in the DC Universe (1990).
