Assemble! The Gotei 13

Kūkaku Shiba explains to Ichigo and the others how she plans to get them into the Seireitei. She will shoot them from a very large cannon. In order for this to work they will need to focus their spiritual energy to create a globe around themselves. She has them practice. Inoue, Chad, and Ishida are all able to do it but Ichigo can't figure out how to work it.

Renji Abarai goes to a meeting within the Seireitei for the lieutenants of the thirteen divisions. There are only three other lieutenants present when Renji arrives, those from seventh, fifth, and tenth divisions.

Ganju gives Ichigo some pointers on how to focus his spirit energy. He does it while pretending to be giving him bad advice. Ichigo gives it a try and finds it to be very useful. Even though Ichigo now knows how to do it, he quickly demonstrates a lack of focus.

A meeting is held within the Seireitei of the captains of the thirteen divisons. Gin Ichimaru, captain of 3rd division, is questioned about his confrontation with the outsiders. The meeting is broken up abruptly when an alarm goes off informing everyone that there are intruders in the Seireitei.

Thoughts

Rukia is seen very briefly at the end of this episode.

Presumably the intruders in the Seireitei are Ichigo and his friends. 

Still good, still enjoying this show. I love all the little glimpses at things like the meeting with the captains of the 13 divisions. I'm eager for more.
