Noir City DC 2025
The theme of this year's edition of Noir City DC was When Winsome Women Turn Wicked. Twenty-four films were shown. I made it to twelve of them, six of the screenings I saw were introduced by Foster Hirsch, four by Alan K. Rode, and two were without introduction because I saw them on weekdays.

My favorites from the first weekend were The Narrow Margin (1951) and Tension (1949). My standout favorite from the second weekend was Cry Danger (1951).
I had plans to see a few more films than I did but twelve was considerably more than I usually watch in a span of 10 days. I hope that they work at least a few foreign films into the schedule next year. I look forward to Noir City DC 2026.
