directed by Matthew Snead
30 minutes
This documentary about the making of Tremors (1990) includes interviews with many people involved in the making of the movie, only three of whom were actors. Those three are Kevin Bacon, Michael Gross, and Ariana Richards. Most of the other interviewees were part of the crew including the director, Ron Underwood.
They talk about a number of subjects including
- The location where a fair amount of the filming was done
- The special effects, all of which were practical, including the graboids
It was a little disappointing that they didn't have archival interviews with the other cast members, some of whom had passed away by the time this odcumentary was made.
Researching a little more, after I watched this documentary, I found a 53 minute minute documentary that was made in 1998 called The Making of Tremors but that only contains interviews with the crew but not any of the cast. Maybe I should have watched that instead of this documentary.
