Zuril comes up with a plan to devastate Tokyo. He and Gandal plan to blow up a uranium storage site. The hope is that the wind will carry waves of radioactive clouds into Tokyo killing everyone without damaging the city. Gandal puts Commander Sadon in charge of the mission.

The Grendizer team leaps into action when the Space Science Center detects that there are missiles headed for Tokyo. They get there in time and destroy all but one of the missiles which slips past. They assumed that Tokyo was the target for the missiles. Kouji goes after the one missile that got away.

Pilot

Fashion model Madeleine Hayes (Cybil Shepard),  wakes up one morning only to discover that her accountant has stolen most of her money. One of the assets she still has is the City of Angels Detective Agency, which has lost money consistently for the past three years. She goes there to try and shut it down and meets, for the first time, David Addison (Bruce Willis) who runs the agency. 

David tries to talk her into keeping the agency up and running but Maddy is not interested. Maddy goes to dinner that night at a fancy restaurant with a plastic surgeon. David shows up and derails her dinner. The doctor leaves after being fooled into thinking that there is an emergency which calls for his attention.

Lieutenant Bilko

Bilko has reached the end of his enlistment. He is ready to leave the army when he discovers that the Army owes him back pay because in 1943 he was temporarily promoted to lieutenant. Colonel Hall is devastated. He was ready to get rid of Bilko.

Thoughts

This is a decent episode. It doesn't all make sense but I enjoyed it. Bilko thinks he's got the upper hand but doesn't. Colonel Hall turns the tables on him more than once.

Doctor Immanuel Rath commands no respect from his high school students. He finds out that some of them have been frequenting a night club, The Blue Angel. Rath goes to the nightclub. He finds his students but he also finds and falls in love with the star attraction, Lola (Marlene Dietrich).

Rath proposes to Lola. She accepts but does not leave her life as a cabaret dancer. Rath has been been disgraced by his association with Lola and loses his job as a teacher. He helps to support Lola by selling postcards of her in suggestive poses.

Break the String

Chapman gets permission from Carol to ask around and sign inmates up for kickball. It doesn't go well at first. No one is interested.

Daddy gives Barbara some bad drugs and she start hallucinating. She has to be put in medical in order to keep her from hurting herself or anyone else. Flores gets ejected from medical so that there is a bed for Barbara. Nichols helps Barbara get through the trip.

Caputo tries to help Taystee. He testifies on her behalf while getting ready to move to Nebraska. Everything goes well at the deposition until the prosecution's attorney starts asking questions and points out how bad it was for Caputo during the riot.

Cindy starts to experience back pain. She comes to the realization, with some help from Flaca, that she needs to come clean with Taystee. She tries to but the only thing she confesses to is that she has a daughter. She doesn't tell Taytee about how she and Suzanne overheard the correctional officers plotting to pin Piscatella's death on the inmates.

Secret/Identity

The police detain Arthur but they let him go once they get some video showing that Overkill is the one who killed the guys who attacked Arthur at the end of the previous episode.

The Tick wants to pickup where they left off but Arthur isn't interested. He goes home to get some rest. He has to work the next day. Miss Lint is waiting for him. She wants the suit. She interrogates him and then zaps him. He wakes up the next morning and the suit is gone.

The Tick shows up again hoping that Arthur has changed his mind. Arthur explains that he lost the suit. Dot shows up and gives Arthur a ride to work.

Miss Lint meets with Ramses. He wants the suit. She says the guy who took it must have skipped town.

The Rescue

(aka The Daleks - Part Seven)

Ian is saved when Antodus cuts the rope and falls to his death. The small group of humans and Thals led by Ganatus keeps going until they reach what looks like a dead end. They consider going back but then Ian finds a way out which leads into the Dalek city.

The Doctor and Susan are held prisoner as the Daleks prepare to detonate a neutron bomb. The Doctor tries to bargain with them. He tells them about his ship and where it can be found but they refuse to abandon their plan to destroy all life on Skaro, except themselves, with radiation.

Alydon and his group make their way into the city. They meet up with the group Ganatus is leading. They attack the Dalek control room and disable the controls. The Daleks power source is disabled and the Daleks are rendered helpless.

The Doctor and his companions say their goodbyes, get in the TARDIS, and leave. As they are departing something goes wrong inside the TARDIS and they all fall to the ground.
