Kouji Kabuto in a Heroic Position

Zuril comes up with a plan to devastate Tokyo. He and Gandal plan to blow up a uranium storage site. The hope is that the wind will carry waves of radioactive clouds into Tokyo killing everyone without damaging the city. Gandal puts Commander Sadon in charge of the mission.

The Grendizer team leaps into action when the Space Science Center detects that there are missiles headed for Tokyo. They get there in time and destroy all but one of the missiles which slips past. They assumed that Tokyo was the target for the missiles. Kouji goes after the one missile that got away.

Doctor Who (1963) 1.02.07

The Rescue
(aka The Daleks - Part Seven)

Ian is saved when Antodus cuts the rope and falls to his death. The small group of humans and Thals led by Ganatus keeps going until they reach what looks like a dead end. They consider going back but then Ian finds a way out which leads into the Dalek city.

The Doctor and Susan are held prisoner as the Daleks prepare to detonate a neutron bomb. The Doctor tries to bargain with them. He tells them about his ship and where it can be found but they refuse to abandon their plan to destroy all life on Skaro, except themselves, with radiation.

Alydon and his group make their way into the city. They meet up with the group Ganatus is leading. They attack the Dalek control room and disable the controls. The Daleks power source is disabled and the Daleks are rendered helpless.

The Doctor and his companions say their goodbyes, get in the TARDIS, and leave. As they are departing something goes wrong inside the TARDIS and they all fall to the ground.

Five Minutes Before Destroying Tokyo

or Five minutes before Tokyo's total destruction!
or Cinq minutes pour mourir (Five minutes to die)

The Vegans test a Vegatron bomb on an island in the Pacific Ocean which is about the same size as Tokyo. The island is so badly damaged that it sinks into the ocean. Kouji is sent in Marine Spazer to investigate. 

Kouji arrives in the spot where the island used to be. He sees lots of dead fish floating on the surface of the ocean. He dives into the ocean to investigate further and is attacked by minifos. He destroys a few of them but they outnumber him and cause him to crash into an island. They are about to destroy him when Grendizer shows up and chases off the remaining minifos.

The Ordeal
(aka The Daleks - Part Six)

The Thal who was getting water has disappeared by the time Ian, Barbara, and the others get to the lake. They decide there is nothing they can do but keep going. They find some caves which they explore in the hopes of finding a way through to the other side of the mountains. Antodus, one of the Thals, starts to have doubts about going on. He tries to convince Ganatus to let him go back. Soon after that the route back gets cut off when some rocks fall obstructing that passage.

The Doctor, Susan, Alydon, and Dyoni look for a way into the city. The Doctor sends Alydon and Dyoni to check on the other Thals that are nearby. The Doctor sabotages some control panels he finds by short circuiting the wiring. He and Susan are getting ready to move on when three Daleks show up and take them prisoner. The Daleks reveal their plan to the Doctor and Susan to release radiation in the atmosphere.

Ian, Barbara, and the others discover that they must leap across a chasm in order to keep going. It is only a few feet across but the drop is tremendous. everyone makes it across safely except Antodus who slips and falls. He is attached by rope to Ian who does his best to keep himself from going over the edge as the episode ends.

Kirika's Disappearance in the Ice

Commander Kirika develops a freezing ray. She is continuing the work of her brother who is now dead. Vega Daio orders her to use it to capture Grendizer and kill Duke Fleed. She has her doubts but agrees to do it.

The Expedition
(aka The Daleks - Part Five)

Ian grabs Dyoni by the hand and starts to take her with him. He says he is going to see what he can get in exchange for her from the Daleks. Alydon decides he's had enough and punches Ian in the face, knocking him down. Alydon is disappointed in himself but (after he sleeps on it) he decides to help the Doctor and his companions recover the fluid link.

The Daleks try taking the anti-radiation medicine that they took from Susan. They discover that the Daleks who are given the medicine become ill. Most of them die. They realize that radiation is what they actually need. It is helpful rather than harmful to them. The Daleks make plans based on their discovery to detonate a nuclear bomb.

Captain Harlock (1978) 1.42

Farewell, Space Outlaw

Captain Harlock is ready to disband the crew of the Arcadia but they object. The Arcadia lands in Egypt where they left Mayu but she isn't there. She stowed away aboard a cargo ship along with some other kids. The Arcadia heads to Japan in hopes of finding Mayu there. The crew expects that they will be welcomed with a parade but instead they are greeted by armed forces that give them a day to leave Earth.

Captain Harlock goes and talks to the prime minister who tells him that he and all his crew have been branded as criminals and therefore are not welcome on Earth. The Arcadia is getting ready to leave when the giant sphere that landed in Tokyo in the second episode begins to emit rainbow colored waves. Mazone start to emerge from the ground in Japan and around the world.

Doctor Who (1963) 1.02.04

The Ambush
(aka The Daleks - Part Four)

Ian (inside one of the Daleks) manages to trick another of the Daleks into letting them into the room adjacent to the lift. Ian can't get out of the Dalek. He tells the others to go ahead without him. Susan objects but the Doctor and Barbara agree that Ian's suggestion is for the best.

The Doctor, Barbara, and Susan take the lift up to the surface. They send it back down for Ian who escapes in the lift just before the Daleks break down the door.

Temmosus leads the Thals into the city to meet with the Daleks. Temmosus assumes that the Daleks will want to talk. Alydon has doubts, which prove to be accurate. The Daleks kill Temmosus. Most of the other Thals escape thanks to Ian who warns them at the last minute.
