Tribeca and Geils go undercover in a cabaret to try and break up a prostitution ring. They are pulled off the case by Lieutenant Atkins, just as they are making some progress. They confront the lieutenant about it but he refuses to tell them why. They do a little snooping around and find Police Commissioner Bigfish coming out of a hotel that sex workers are known to use.
Tribeca and Geils confront Atkins with what they found out about Bigfish. Atkins won't tell them anything because he and Bigfish were partners years ago. Bigfish saved Atkins life and Atkins swore never to betray him.
Tribeca and Geils lay a trap and the commissioner walks right into it. Tribeca pretends to be a prostitute. It turns out the commissioner is into dressing up like a baby and wants Tribeca to play the part of his mommy. Tribeca puts up with it but not for long. The commissioner escapes and Geils has to chase him down.
Thoughts
Comissioner Bigfish was played by Dave Koechner. He has been in a lot of things but when I looked at his IMDB page the thing that stood out was that he played Josh's Uncle Barry in episode 1.06 of Future Man.
Stacy, a prostitute that Geils questions while looking for leads, is played by Amy Smart. She was also in a couple episodes of Maron, both from the fourth season.
This was fun and over the top silly.
