starring David Spade, Lauren Lapkus
directed by Tyler Spindel
90 minutes
Tim (David Spade) invites the wrong woman to go to Hawaii with him for a coporate retreat. He went on one date with Missy (Lauren Lapkus) and accidentally invites her thinking he was inviting Melissa (Molly Sims). Missy was too wild and crazy for him. He doesn't tell her the truth because he fears she is suicidal.
Tim is forced to spend three days with Missy and introduce her to all his coworkers as his girlfriend. Complicating things is the fact that his ex-fiance is also there with her new boyfriend. The time in Hawaii is one disaster after another for Tim but eventually Missy starts to grow on him.
I didn't think this movie was awful but I would rate it as mediocre at best. I laughed a few times but not enough to satisfy me. The more serious aspects of the story felt rushed and forced. I didn't really care for or about either Tim or Missy. The ending felt forced.
