On the commentary track they talk about Kevin Lindsay (Styre), Tom Baker's injury to his collar bone, the location (Hound Tor), and how it came to be that this story has just two parts.
There's a lot packed into this episode. They wrap things up neatly enough to satisfy me. It isn't perfect but this will always be one of my favorites because it was the first episode I ever saw of Doctor Who.
