Sherlock Jr. (1924)

Sherlock Jr. (1924)

starring Buster Keaton
directed by Buster Keaton

45 minutes

Silent

A film projectionist (Buster Keaton), who wants to be a detective, tries to impress the woman he loves. He first gets upstaged by a rival for the woman's affections and then accused of stealing her father's pocket watch. He returns to the theater where he works and dreams of how Sherlock Jr. (Buster Keaton) would handle this case.

Thoughts

This was a lot of fun. I loved all the gags. The stunts were good to great. Some of them were achieved using trick photography. I especially liked the pool game with the potential exploding pool ball.
