Where Pleasant Fountains Lie

Mariner and Boimler are sent on a mission to escort AGIMUS, an evil computer, to the Daystrom Institute. On the way there they crash land on a desert planet. AGIMUS tries talking them into letting it help out. Boimler is all for it but Mariner is against it. They fight. Boimler stuns Mariner with a phaser after he learns that he wouldn't even be on this mission if it wasn't for her.
Rutherford goes on a mission with Billups to repair the engines of Hysperian Queen Paolana's starship. Billups, Rutherford's supervisor, is the crown prince of Hysperia. His mother is desperate to have him take her place but as long as he remains a virgin she can't force him to assume the crown.
This was a fun episode but, as much as the Hysperian subplot made me laugh, I found it to be a bit forced and lacking in substance. I was hoping for more than I got. The Mariner / Boimler subplot was much more engaging, possibly because it was rooted in their relationship.
