Fleabag goes to Mass. She's there because the priest is there. She flirts with. He catches her smelling the bible. She wants to pay him for dinner the other night but he refuses. He offers her a cup of tea. They winds up drinking canned G&T in the rectory.
Clare stops by Fleabag's cafe. It is full of people. Clare is very surprised. They go see their godmother. She wants to paint a picture of the two of them for their father. She has Clare facce front and Fleabag face in the other direction. She wants to know about Fleabag's miscarriage.
Clare tell Fleabag that Martin is planning to sue her for punching him. Clare takes Fleabag to see a lawyer. It gets a bit strange. Fleabag sense that there is or maybe was something between Clare and the lawyer. She winds up leaving before Clare does. Fleabag tries to give Clare the gift certificate for the counseling session but she won't take it.
Fleabag goes to the free counseling session. She doesn't really want to tell the woman anything but she winds up talking about her obsession with the priest. She asks for advice but the counselor won't give her any.
Fleabag helps the priest at a fundraising event for the parish. She runs into Martin at the event. He's there because his son is there playing the bassoon. He tries being nice to her but she won't apologize, even after he does. Martin's son secretly tells her to tell Clare to leave his father.
Fleabag gets a few moments with the priest before she leaves the event. They flirt some more. He gives her a bible. He's highlighted some passages for her to read. She insists that she isn't religious but she winds up taking the bible anyway.
Thoughts
Still loving it. It wasn't as focused as last episode but there were quite a few moments that made me laugh, especially ones involving the priest.
