Neal searches his father's car and finds a garage door opener that isn't for the garage attached to his house. He gets Sam and Bill to go around the neighborhood looking for the garage that the opener will open.
Amy goes to the show with Ken and the others. She and Ken make out during the show. Daniel and Kim also make out during the show. Nick and Lindsay do not make out. He's still interested in her but she isn't interested in him as anything other than a friend.

Thoughts
Jessica Campbell, who played Amy, had a fairly short career in front of the camera. She is in one more episode of Freaks and Geeks. She was also in Election (1999). She only has six screen credits in all and her most recent work was in 2002. She died in 2020.
This episode focuses on friends of Lindsay and Sam, instead of the Weir siblings. It may be the first time that has happened.
I recall being much more moved by the ending to Neal's story the first time I saw it. I also recalled it ending a little differently. My recollection is that it was a more dramatic ending.
This was a decent episode. There were a few laughs.
