Green Lantern is badly injured in the blast that levels the casino. Hawkgirl finds him and revives him but he is in no shape to continue fighting. She takes him away from the fight to get him medical attention.
Batman, Superman, and Flash continue to find and defuse bombs. The Royal Flush Gang continues to thwart their efforts as best they can. Batman tricks Harley Quinn, once all the bombs have been dealt with, into leading him to the Joker.
The Joker turns Ace on Batman, after he has explained her upbringing and her superpower. Batman is no match for Ace but the tables turn when she learns that Joker doesn't really trust her. She turns her power on the Joker and turns him into a drooling idiot.
The episode ends with Green Lantern confessing how he feels about Hawkgirl. She tries to object but he removes her helmet and they start smooching.
Thoughts
I think this might have been the first time they showed Hawkgirl's face in Justice League.
Superman and Flash drop out of the story once the bombs have been destroyed or deactivated. Harley Quinn gets to play a bigger role than she did in part one but for the most part she plays the part of the jealous girlfriend.
The ending is a happy one but it is also the calm before the storm that is Starcrossed.
I like this episode, especially the showdown between Batman, the Joker, and Ace. I also like the epilogue on the Watchtower. This episode is far from perfect but its a good one.
