The Caves of Androzani - Part Three
The Doctor escapes while the soldiers and fighting with the monster. Only three of the mercenaries survive the fight with the creature.
Salateen and Peri find Chellak. Salateen explains everything that he knows about his android double. Chellak and Salateen come up with a plan to feed bad information to the android which will then be transmitted to Sharaz Jek.
The mercenaries run into Jek in the caves. He gives them some of the Spectrox then were promised but refuses to give them the rest because they didn't deliver all the weapons that they promised him. Jek instructs them to take the Doctor with them back to Androzani Major.
Android Salateen returns to Chellak's comand center. Real Salateen and Peri are hiding next door but the android sees their heat signature through the wall. Chellak sends him off on a wild goose chase but Android Salateen reports in to Sharaz Jek who comes up with a plan of his own.
The Doctor and the mercenaries depart Androzani Minor. The mercenary leader contact Morgus who orders them to stay in geostationary orbit and not return to Major. They chain up the Doctor and follow his orders. Morgus sees the Doctor who is supposed to be dead and suspects that the President must be working against him.
Sharaz Jek grabs Peri and takes her back to his HQ.
Morgue first meets with the President and throws him down an elevator shaft.
The Doctor escapes from the chains once he is alone and pilots the mercenaries ship back to Minor. The ship is about to make a crash landing when the episode ends.
Thoughts
This is still good. There is so much packed into this one episode. I can't say enough about how much I love the fact that the Doctor and Peri are players in a bigger story and that the whole story does not revolve around them.
