The Pluto File
Sep 1942 - Professor Warren, an American scientist, develops a way of inducing earthquakes. The Falcon, a master spy who has just flown in from India, steals the Pluto File which contains the professor's explanation of how to create earthquakes. The Falcon unknowingly leaves a trail of people in his wake who have been infected with the bubonic plague, which he picked up while he was in India.
The Falcon quickly puts the information in the Pluto File to use when he creates a series of Earthquakes that threaten a top secret laboratory in Bladensburg, MD. The Falcon knows that Professor Warren is the only one who knows how to counter the effects of the earthquakes he has created. The Falcon attempts to kill Professor Warren but Wonder Woman gets there before him and protects the professor.
The Falcon was played by Robert Reed, who is best known for playing Mr. Brady on the Brady Bunch. Professor Warren was played by Hayden Roarke. who is best known for playing Dr. Bellows on I Dream of Jeannie.
Steve Trevor, General Blankenship, and Etta Candy are all in this episode.
I love the moment when Wonder Woman lassoes the Falcon and he comes running towards her when clearly she is supposed to be pulling him towards her but there is too much slack in the rope for that to be the case.
Everyone in this episode mispronounces Bladensburg. The first syllable should be pronounced like BLADE not BLAD.
I'm not crazy about this episode but I like it even though its only real threat in human or animal form seems to be the Falcon.
