Wonder Woman (2011)

Pilot

Wonder Woman aka Diana Themyscira splits her time between fighting crime and running Themyscira Industries. She goes after businesswoman Veronica Cale after another teenage athlete almost dies after using performance enhancing drugs provided by Cale's company. Cale denies having anything to do with the problems the athletes have experienced. 

Wonder Woman takes a blood sample from a man whom she believes works for Cale. Lab results on the sample turn up negative but Wonder Woman later interrogates the man while he is in the hospital. She learns from him where Cale's lab can be found. he breaks into the lab and fights her way through about 20 men who are there to stop her. The lab gets shut down but Diana Themyscira finds herself under investigation by the Unites States Department of Justice. Leading the investigation in her ex, Steve Trevor who is now married.

Wonder Woman in Hollywood

Steve Trevor is sent to Hollywood by General Blankenship who wants him to be one of a few war heroes to appear in a war movie. Diana Prince goes with Steve. She doesn't have much to do while Steve is busy but she saves Steve from a lighting rig that almost falls on him. She also rescues Corporal Ames, one of the other war heroes who almost gets kidnapped.

Drusilla, Diana's sister, is sent by the Queen to get Diana to return to Paradise Island for the upcoming bi-millennial celebration. Dru arrives just in time to see Wonder Woman rescue Corporal Ames.

Diana, Dru, Steve, and Corporal Ames go to a party thrown by the film's producer, Mark Bremer. There they meet two more war heroes who are scheduled to be in the movie: Lieutenant Bill Rand (US Navy) and Sergeant Harry Willard (US Marine Corps). Lieutenant Rand gets kidnapped during the party and Mark Bremer is revealed to be a Nazi, but only to the audience.

The Bushwhackers

Texas cattleman JP Hadley, who has been selling a lot of his cattle to the US Government to support the war efforts, keeps losing cattle to rustlers. The local police aren’t much help so he calls an old friend in Washington, DC, General Blankenship. The General sends Major Steve Trevor to the Diamond H Ranch to help out JP. Wonder Woman follows Steve in her invisible airplane.

The cattle rustlers get word about Major Trevor from Jeff Hadley, JP's son. JP recently adopted five war orphans and Jeff feels as though his father doesn't have time for him anymore. The cattle rustlers trap Steve while he is driving to the Diamond H Ranch from nearby Kelly AFB. Wonder Woman, with the help of Charlie, one of the war orphans, rescues Steve from the trap.

Major Steve Trevor and Yeoman Diana Prince fly to Argentina to make contact with Professor Moreno who has offered his latest invention to the government of the United States. The American Ambassador to Argentina meets them at the airport. He takes them to see Professor Moreno but on the way there they are pulled over by Nazis. The Nazis take Major Trevor and the ambassador and leave Yeoman Prince behind.

Wonder Woman rescues Steve and the ambassador. Diana goes to a dinner party with Steve and the ambassador at Professor Moreno's house. Nazis strike again. They are kidnapping Steve Trevor when Wonder Woman shows up. She tries to break up the abduction but gets taken prisoner along with Steve.

Judgement from Outer Space - Part 2

Wonder Woman recovers from the piercing sound and reaches out to the Council of Planets, using the communications equipment in the flying saucer. Gorel, Sakri, and the other members of the council hear her appeal for help but they do not respond.

General Blankenship sends Major Trevor to England to work with British Intelligence to see if they can rescue Andros, who is now a prisoner of the Nazis. Steve and Mallory, a British spy, make plans to parachute into Germany.

Wonder Woman doesn't wait for Steve. She flies to England and breaks into the castle where Andros is being held. One of the Nazis rips off her magic girdle, while she is fighting them, thus stripping her of her superhuman abilities. She joins Andros as a prisoner of the Nazis.

Judgement from Outer Space - Part 1

Andros, an alien from a distant solar system travels to Earth as ordered by the Council of Planets. He has been there before and has returned to observe Earth one final time. If it doesn't prove worthy then the Council has plans to destroy all humans on Earth.

Paul Bjornsen, a Nazi posing as a Swedish journalist, learns of Andros. He gets close enough to Andros to see a demonstration of his powers. He gets some inside information from Etta Candy, who has a crush on the fake Swedish journalist.

Andros meets Wonder Woman on a couple occasions, between which he also meets with the President of the United States of America. Andros explains the situation to her. He sees through her disguise as Diana Prince but he doesn't tell anyone about her dual identities.

The Last of the Two Dollar Bills

Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor cross paths in Washington, DC with Wotan, Germany's top spy, as he is preparing to steal the plates for the two dollar bill, from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Wotan brings two other spies with him who are disguised as Hank, a federal employee, and Maggie, his girlfriend who runs a café across the street from the Bureau of Printing and Engraving.

Thoughts

Maggie was played by Barbara Anderson. She doesn't have a very long list of screen credits according to IMDb but I have seen her in two other things in the past 13 months: The first Six Million Dollar Man TV movie and an episode of Star Trek (1966) (1.13 - The Conscience of the King).

The Pluto File

Sep 1942 - Professor Warren, an American scientist, develops a way of inducing earthquakes. The Falcon, a master spy who has just flown in from India, steals the Pluto File which contains the professor's explanation of how to create earthquakes. The Falcon unknowingly leaves a trail of people in his wake who have been infected with the bubonic plague, which he picked up while he was in India.

The Falcon quickly puts the information in the Pluto File to use when he creates a series of Earthquakes that threaten a top secret laboratory in Bladensburg, MD. The Falcon knows that Professor Warren is the only one who knows how to counter the effects of the earthquakes he has created. The Falcon attempts to kill Professor Warren but Wonder Woman gets there before him and protects the professor.

Wonder Woman vs. Gargantua

Sep 1942, Nazi agents are sent to the United States to recover Conrad Steigler, a German doctor who was in the process of defecting. The Nazi agents (Hans Eichler, Erica Belgard, Carl) use Gargantua, a gorilla that Erica has trained to follow her commands, to help them kidnap Steigler and set a trap for Wonder Woman.

The Nazis agents capture Steigler but Wonder Woman convinces the gorilla that she is its friend. The Nazi agent escape with Steigler. Wonder Woman turns the gorilla over to Dr. Osmond who helps to undue what Erica did to it.

Erica and Hans come looking for Gargantua. They find it in Dr. Osmond's laboratory. They program it once again to follow their commands and use it once again to set a trap for Wonder Woman. She defeats the Nazi agents but this time they do not escape. The episode ends with Wonder Woman returning the creature to Africa.

Wonder Woman 1.05

The Feminum Mystique - Part 2

Captain Radl tricks Drusilla, whom he thinks is Wonder Woman, into revealing the location of Paradise Island. It is there and only there that Feminum, the metal from which her bracelets were forged, can be found.

Diana hears that the Nazis are operating in Florida and fears that Paradise Island may be in danger. Steve gives her leave to return home. She gets there in time to warn Queen Hippolyta, her mother about a possible invasion by the Nazis.

Wonder Woman organizes a team of Amazons to defend the Feminum mine. The Nazis, led by Captain Radl, attack and take over the mine. Wonder Woman and the other Amazons do as the Nazis say for fear that Queen Hippolya will be harmed if they don't.

Drusilla escapes and warns Steve about Peter Knight. Steve doesn't believe her but then he tricks Peter into revealing that he is working for the Nazis.

Wonfer Woman, Drusilla, and the other Amazons come up with a plan and overcome the Nazis. Wonder Woman and Drusilla return to the United States and get there just in time to prevent the Nazis from stealing the replacement XPJ1.

Wonder Woman 1.04

The Feminum Mystique - Part 1

June 1942 - Major Steve Trevor and Yeoman Diana Prince visit Aldrich Field in Virginia. Steve is planning to test fly the XPJ1, a new experimental jet plane. Nazi agents strike the base before Steve can get in the jet plane. One of the Nazi agents flies off in the plane. Steve calls General Blankenship who executes Code Z which detonates explosives that are aboard the XPJ1, before it gets very far. 

The pilot who stole the XPJ1 bails out before the jet plane explodes. He is picked up by a German submarine and returns to Germany. There a new plan is hatched to find out about Wonder Woman and her bullet deflecting bracelets.

The Americans make plans to assemble another XPJ1. Queen Hippolyta sends Drusilla, Diana's sister, to the United States to fetch her. Diana invites Steve and Peter Knight, the engineer who assembled the XPJ1, over for dinner at her place. Drusilla joins them. Steve tells Peter about the plans.

Wonder Woman 1.03

Beauty on Parade

Steve Trevor visits Fort Russell in Maryland which was recently hit by enemy agents, presumably Nazi sympathizers. There is a beauty contest about to happen there. The base commander insists that security is very tight but Steve and Diana have doubts.

Diana Prince dons a wig and enters the contest under the name Diana Paradise. One of the other contestants is very put out by Diana joining the contest at the last minute but the others are much more welcoming.

The sabotage turns out to be something other than what Steve and Diana suspected. It wasn't intended to destroy a government project. It's intent was to set a trap for General Eisenhower. Steve and Diana find out just in time to prevent an assassination attempt on General Eisenhower.

Wonder Woman 1.02

Fausta: The Nazi Wonder Woman

Fausta is sent to America to capture Wonder Woman and bring her back to Germany. She starts by capturing Major Steve Trevor. Wonder Woman catches up to Fausta and her goons in a warehouse in the Southwest quadrant of Washington, DC. Wonder Woman rescues Steve. Fausta gets to see her nemesis in action in person for the first time.

Fausta comes up with another plan. She impersonates Wonder Woman at a war bonds rally. She lures Wonder Woman into competing against her in a test of strength. Wonder Woman is caught off guard by Fausta's goons and knocked out with ether or chloroform.

Steve is in the audience at the war bods rally. He doesn't see Wonder Woman get captured but he suspects that something is up. He follows the car that Fausta and the unconscious Wonder Woman are in but the car he is driving experiences engine trouble and he is unable to prevent Fausta from flying back to Germany with Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman 1.01

Wonder Woman Meets Baroness Von Gunther

Major Steve Trevor falls under suspicion of being a Nazi spy. He is summoned to appear before Congress to explain his recent actions which placed him in close proximity to incidents that harmed the US war efforts.

Someone, who refuses to identify himself, calls Steve and tells him to meet him at the Old Virginia Stables. The mystery man promises to turn over some records that have mysteriously disappeared. Steve goes to the stables. There he almost dies in a fire after being hit on the head and knocked out. Wonder Woman arrives just in time to save him.

Steve Trevor and Diana Prince go to the prison at Fort Myer in Arlington, VA. They meet with Baroness Von Gunther, a Nazi, who was captured months before. Steve hopes to get some information about Nazi activities in and around Washington, DC. The Baroness is a little too slick for Steve. Diana has to leave before the interrogation ends.

A German plan to bomb the Brooklyn Navy tards is foiled by Major Steve Trevor (Lyle Waggoner). He parachutes out of his plane as it was destroyed while stopping the German plane that was sent to bomb the Brooklyn Navy Yard. He lands on Paradise Island. He is unconscious when he is found by Diana (Lynda Carter), Princess of the Amazons.

Queen Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, decides that Major Trevor must be returned to the United States. She holds a contest to determine which Amazon will undertake this mission. All of the Amazons taking part in the contest are masked and wear numbers. In the end it comes down to a contest of bullets and bracelets between the two Amazons who score the highest, numbers 8 and 33. The winner (33) reveals herself to be Diana, after she has won the contest of bullets and bracelets.
