Birthmark
Slade returns on Raven's birthday. He is stronger, more powerful than he has even been before in the past. He can fly. He can pass through solid objects.
The Teen Titans attempt to stop him. Raven stops time. The other Titans are also frozen but Slade is not. He continues to pursue her. It is her that he is after. There is something that he wants her to do but he isn't clear as to what that something is but she refuses to do it.
Slade reports in to someone towards the end of the episode. The episode ends with the Titans celebrating Raven's birthday. Raven knows that what happened was just a prelude to something bigger, more deadly.
Doctor Light is seen fighting the Teen Titans at the beginning of this episode but he is not seen again after the opening credits.
Trigon is seen briefly in this episode. Is he back? Is Slade working for Trigon? If not Trigon, then who is behind Slade?
This was a very good episode but also a very mysterious episode. It is a beginning. I'm curious to see when and where this story continues. Presumably it will be before the end of the season. I'm not sure what to expect or where it will go next but I think it is likely that the next episode will be its own story and that this one will pick up further down the line.
