Flash Goddess Yoruichi, Dances!
Yoruichi prevents Ichigo from fighting Byakuya. Knowing that Ichigo is not strong enough to defeat the captain of 6th Squad, she sedates Ichigo and then takes off with him before Byakuya can lay a finger on either of them. She promises to bring him back in the near future so that the fight can resume.
Byakuya loses interest in the others including Ganju once Yoruichi has left with Ichigo over her shoulder. Ukitake takes charge of the situation once Byakuya has left and orders two of his troops to take care of Rukia and find someone from 4th Squad to treat Ganju's injuries.
Orihime and Uryū obtain some Shinigami uniforms. They don't know it but 12th Division Captain Mayuri Kurotsuchi is following them.
Ichigo awakens and finds Yoruichi standing over him. She proceeds to begin to instruct him in what he needs to know in order to stand a chance of defeating Byakuya. He needs to learn how to unleash his Zanpakutō to it's second level of release, known as Bankai. It usually takes ten years to master such a technique but he has just three days until his next encounter with Byakuya.
Thoughts
Sado is not in this episode.
I don't recall much from here on out. I only watched the first 6 episodes of the third season. I read the manga all the way to the end of this arc. It has been about 17 years since I watched those episodes and read the manga.
What comes next? How many episodes will be spent on Ichigo's Bankai training? When will Sado, Orihime, and Uryū be reunited with Ichigo?
