Homecoming - Part 2
The Teen Titans are eager to team up with the Doom Patrol but the Doom Patrol continue their quest to stop the Brotherhood of Evil on their own. Mento insists that Beast Boy come with them. Robin tries to prevent Mento from forcing Beast Boy to go with the Doom Patrol but Beast Boy decides to go with the Doom Patrol.
Mento pinpoints the location where the Brotherhood of Evil are located. The Doom Patrol heads there but along the way they are picked off one by one until only Beast Boy and Mento remain. Together they attack the Brotherhood of Evil's stronghold. General Immortus and Madame Rouge have joined the Brain and Monsieur Mallah. The combined forces of the supervillains proves to be too much for Beast Boy and Mento but the Teen Titans plus Robot Man, Elastic-Girl, and Negative Man join the fight just when all seems lost.
The Brotherhood of Evil is defeated but they get away in the end.
Thoughts
I wish I liked this two-part story more than I do. It is just a little too much by the numbers without much in the way of character moments to impress me. It all seems to be about Mento learning to not be such a dick but I question if he learned or he just changed.
