The Hand of Fear - Part 1

A creature, possibly humanoid, wrapped in protective garb mans a post on an extremely cold planet and in the distant past. It is given orders which it follows to blow up a spaceship, which it does.

The TARDIS materializes on Earth in a quarry. The Doctor and Sarah Jane emerge and start walking around. They are caught in an explosion which levels a wall of rock. The Doctor emerges from the explosion relatively uninjured but Sarah is buried under some rubble. The Doctor and men who were working at the quarry dig her out.

Sarah is taken to a hospital. She is holding a stone hand which must be much be older than mankind, based on where it was found. There is a ring on the hand which Sarah takes. The hand is examined by Dr. Carter at the hospital while Sarah is unconscious. The Doctor checks in first on Sarah and then on Dr. Carter. The Doctor decides to return to the quarry to have a look around to see if he can find anything related to the hand.

The Doctor returns empty handed from the quarry but by then Sarah is gone. She awoke while he was at the quarry and went to see Dr. Carter. She took the hand and knocked out Dr. Carter using a ray beam that the ring emits. She heads to the nearest nuclear reactor, Nunton Experimental Complex. She uses the ring again a few more times at Nunton.

When the Hot Ice Melts

Ice Hilda leads Gene, Jim, and Melfina into the asteroid. It is there that they finds the XGP15A-II, the ship that was made with "the pirates brains and the Space Forces technology". Hilda has the means to activate the ship. Melfina turns out to be the key to navigation. The pirates arrive before they have the ship ready to depart.

Hilda returns to the Horus to deal with the pirates. The others continue to get the XGP15A-II ready for departure with some help from the ship's primary computer, Gilliam II. The pirates want the ship and put up a fight. Things aren't looking good for the heroes. The fight gets interrupted by the MacDougall brothers. They are there to destroy the XGP15A-II and anyone who gets in their way. Gene recognizes the MacDougall ship as the one that attacked his family on the day his father was killed.

Hair

Three other Master Sargeants (Sowici, Pendelton, Grover) play a trick on Bilko. They attach a wig to his head while he is sleeping. He wakes up and thinks his hair has grown back. The other Master Sergeants have plans to reveal the trick in front of a crowd but Bilko discovers the truth before they get a chance to do so. Bilko comes up with a plan to get revenge on Sowici, Pendleton, and Grover.

Because You Left

Midge gets bailed out by Lenny Bruce. It is his way of repaying her for helping him out.

Rose, Midge’s mother, is sick with worry about Midge. Abe doesn’t listen but then he goes to see Moishe, Joel’s father. He offers to pay for half of the apartment. Moishe agrees to the offer.

Midge gets a lawyer and goes to court. She mouths off to the judge and is held in contempt. She needs $200 to pay the fine she incurred. She turns to Joel for help and he comes through. She apologizes to the judge, which she did not want to do. She is then pushed into pleading guilty, which she also did not want to do and is sentenced to time served.

Midge hangs out with Lenny and helps to emcee a jazz club. It gives her an opportunity to try out some new material. She goes home and finds Joel waiting for her outside the building. He tells her he wants to get back with her. She says no. He asks her why. Her answer is the title of this episode.

Episode 3

The group has dinner together. Anthony does the cooking. He makes three Indian dishes. Fred brings a date. Sam is jealous. The truth about Melody and Colin finally comes out: he is her muse. Kate gets angry when the group finds out that she can’t orgasm but she's angry because she can, just not with Anthony. Lulu wants to have sex with Sam.

I'll See You Soon

The next day, Ray and Zoe continue on down the road. Zoe is driving. They are out in the middle of nowhere. Ray and Zoe are talking when a kangaroo appears out of nowhere. They hit it. The car starts rolling. The car is totaled. Ray survives without serious damage but Zoe is knocked unconscious.

Ray calls Rafael. An elderly couple in a camper shows up while Ray is waiting for Rafael. Rafael doesn't like the situation he finds when arrives. He kills the elderly couple. Ray and Rafael put Zoe in Rafael's car, along with all the junk they had. Ray takes the camper and the two bodies and finds a place to bury them. He makes his way back to town on foot.

He steals a car and finds Rafael. Zoe didn't make it. Rafael says she died before he could get her to a hospital. He gives Ray his car and Ray takes off.

Samurai Jack 4.11

L: Tale of X-49

X-49, a robot heavy who used to work for Aku, comes out of retirement for one last job: kill Samurai Jack. X-49 was the best of the X line of robots, possibly beause he had been given an emotion chip. It made him sensitive in a way that the other robots were not. His fellow robots were eventually killed off. He retired and spent his time in retirement with Lulu, his dog.

X-49 agrees to come out of retirement and hunt Jack down after Aku kidnaps Lulu. He tracks down Jack. The confrontation occurs in an old robot factory. Jack, in the end, proves to be a little little too quick for X-49.
