Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion
Rick, Morty, and Summer are on their way to Boob World when Rick spots a giant robot. Jerry has been looking for this robot for years. It is the last of the five robots of Gotron. The trip to Boob World is canceled, despite Morty's arguments. Summer is all in favor of Rick's new plan and quickly supersedes Morty as Rick's favorite grandchild.
Rick and Summer enlist Morty, Beth, and Jerry in their plan to fight giant alien bug creatures. Together they kill many giant bugs but it isn't enough for Rick. He talks other versions of himself from other universes to join him.
Eventually Rick distances himself from his family and is lured into trusting some outsiders. He fires the others but they don't abandon him. They get the incest baby, rescue Rick, and kill the people who are trying to steal the giant robots.
Thoughts
The giant robots seem to be patterned after Voltron.
This episode was a bit of a disappointment. It wasn't awful, it just wasn't great. I had higher hopes. It had it's moments that made me laugh. At times it moved too quickly and overall it felt a little too simple.
