Episode 1
Yoon Se-ri finds out that her father wants her to take over his business instead of either of her brothers. She makes plans to fire both of her brothers but before she gets around to doing that she disappears while paragliding. A storm blows her off course and she accidentally winds up in North Korea.
Se-ri is found by Ri Jeong-hyuk, a captain in the North Korean army. His attempt to apprehend her is slowed by a landmine and the soldiers in his unit, who were drinking wine while on duty.
Se-ri's disappearance does not go unnoticed by her family. Her brothers, concerned for their own wellbeing and egged on by their wives, put in minimal efforts to find her.
Se-ri eventually finds her way to a village only to discover that she has been heading in the wrong direction and it is a North Korean village. Captain Ri catches up to her just as she is in danger of being apprehended by another North Korean unit.
Thoughts
I can see this show is complete at 16 episodes but most of them are almost movie length. This episode is about 71 minutes long but most of them are closer to 90 minutes in length.
This is fun but not great. I like the sense of humor. This is my first attempt at watching a K-drama. Will I be back for more of this show? I'm not sure.
