Marcel finds out that Gustave ran away. He finds a phone and calls Daniel. He talks to Daniel and to Gustave. He promises to come see them that night.

Kurt returns but only briefly. He can't stay long. He asks Beriot to pass a message on to Lucienne to meet him at a place where they met before. Beriot doesn't tell him that he and Lucienne are planning to get married.

Heinrich breaks the bad news to Hortense. He is about to get shipped out to Minsk, unless he captures Marcel. She goes to visit Daniel. She sees Gustave and learns from him that Marcel will be there that night. She passes that information along to Heinrich.

DeKervern continues his investigation. He talks to Jeanine Schwartz. He gets some information from her despite her reluctance to tell him anything. He is convinced that Raymond killed Caberni. 

Marcel shaves off his mustache. He makes plans to go see his brother and his son. Daniel confides in Sarah that Marcel will be visiting that evening.

DeKervern gets a visit from Servier's nephew. He offers DeKervern up to 50,000 Francs for the name of the suspect. DeKervern tells him to take a hike.

Jules tells Lucienne about Kurt. She goes to see Kurt after getting her future husband's permission. She tells Kurt that she and Jules are about to get marrried. Kurt wants her to run away to Switzerland with him, that afternoon. Lucienne is torn. He has it all planned out.

Marcel makes it to Daniel's house. He visits with his son. The plan is for him to leave in the middle of the night

Lucienne is late to the engagement party for her and Jules. Jules keeps the crowd entertained by singing songs. Lucienne's father encourages to sing the verse that he left out. He does but someone is taking notes. Lucienne finally shows up to the party.

Something seems amiss at the Larcher residence. Daniel spots a German car parked outside his house. He warns Marcel. They change coats and hats. Marcel goes out the back of the house. Daniel goes out the front and gets apprehended by Muller and his men. Muller is livid and he kicks and punches Daniel. He notices a light on in Daniel's house while Daniel is being taken away. Sarah is in the window.

Thoughts

Marie, Raymond, Servier, and Marchetti are not in this episode.

Daniel is the one who encouraged Hortense to stop in and say hi to Gustave. He has been lying to Gustave about various things. Daniel really stepped in it this time.

It doesn't look good for Sarah. Muller is sure to have her arrested. 

What happened with Kurt? I don't know but it looks like Lucienne has made her decision.

DeKervern seems tempted by the money that Servier's nephew is offering him. It could pay for an operation for Judith. 

This was a pretty good episode. It wasn't the best but I would say better than average.
