The Sacred Non-Repeating Number
Korvo has fixed the space ship. They try leaving but there is too much extra weight aboard the space ship so it crashes back on top of the roof of the house. Korvo discovers that there is another family of Shlorpians on Earth. Korvo and Terry find them hiding in the sewers of London. Kabronius Zelvod, Tivo, and Damasculon live in fear of the people of Earth. They only go out at night to scavenge for food. Korvo takes a liking to them. Terry and Jesse do not.
Yumyulak stays behind while the others go to London. He goes back to high school and thinks that the cool kids finally like him. They convince him that they want him to host a party.
Korvo decides, after they return to the United States, to go back to London. He likes it much better there but then he finds out that even thought the London Shlorpians are rich that they don't have a pupa. They left Shlorp before the pupa were ready. Kabronius decides that they should take the pupa from Korvo, Terry, and the others.
Yumyulak discovers that the cool kids were lying to them. He decides that he wants to kill them all but then he makes a new friend and changes his mind about killing the cool kids.
Korvo decides he doesn't like the London Shlorpians. He gives them a dog that Jesse got while he was in London. He tells the London Shlorpians (who have never seen a pupa) that it is their pupa. They take it and leave Earth in search of another planet to terraform.
Thoughts
The title is a reference to an element of the plot. Something that it is (as the name implies) supposed to be sacred but Korvo has forgotten part of it.
This was a lot of fun. From beginning to end it made me laugh. It wasn't hard to see where it was all going but it was still fun.
