Carnival
Riko, a new girl comes to the Maiko House. She wants to become a maiko and she is very enthusiastic and indelicate. Momoko puts together a skit involving the maikos that is modeled after George Romero's zombie films. Yoshino complains about not having a bigger part in the skit. Ryoko goes to see her father and encourages him to be a bigger part of her mother's life. Kiyo cooks tonjiru, a miso soup with pork.
Thoughts
At first it looked like Riko's story was going to be the core of the episode. I enjoyed watching Momoko's skit develop.
