Episode 10

Se-Ri returns to work just as Kang-a, her sister-in-law, is about to take over her company, Se-Ri's Choice. Everyone is stunned to see Se-ri alive. Some are happy to see her but many are not or they are too stunned to react one way or another.

Jeong-hyuk gets a visit from Jung Man-bok, Who works for Cho Cheol-gang and who knew Mu-hyuk, Jeong-hyuk's brother. Man-bok explains why he was working for Cheol-gang and of his connection to Mu-hyuk. He tells him what he knows about what Mu-hyuk was doing and says that he wants to do whatever he can to help Jeong-hyuk.

The women in the North Korean village find a note left by Se-ri. She tells them the truth in the note. She apologizes for not telling them sooner and thanks them for all that they did for her.

Se-ri confronts her family and starts to settle back into her life in Seoul.

Seung-jun talks to Seo-dan the next day. He tells her about how he helped Jeong-hyuk and Se-ri escape to the DMZ. He also tries to convince her to forget about getting married to Jeong-hyuk.

Jeong-hyuk finds the evidence on the chip inside his brother's watch. He sends a copy to his father via fax. Cho Cheol-gang is arrested, tried, and sentenced to life in prison but as Cheol-gang is being dragged from the court room he swears that as long as he is alive Se-ri's life will be in danger.

Cho Cheol-gang escapes, while being transported to another prison, with some help from men who are still loyal to him. He calls Jeong-hyuk and tells him that he's headed south to find Se-ri and kill her.

Jeong-hyuk learns that Cheol-gang was killed in a vehicle accident but Jeong-hyuk suspects that he may not be dead. Worried for Se-ri's life, he heads south and finds her. She has been thinking about him. Cheol-gang is already there stalking her but Jeong-jyuk and Se-ri have yet to spot him. Ri Chung-ryeol, Jeong-hyuk's father, sends Man-bok and Jeong-hyuk's four men south to find Jeong-hyuk and bring him back.

Thoughts

This episode is about 85 minutes in length. I watched it in four sittings, over the course of four days.

The show really seems to transition from one plot to another with this episode.

The two employees who were searching for their boss, Se-ri, several episodes ago are back. Hong Chang-sik, who works with her on a daily basis, is having trouble adjusting to working with her again, mostly because she is much nicer since she has returned.

What does Jeong-hyuk's father know? Does he also suspect that Cheol-gang is still alive?

What is next for Seung-jun and Seo-dan? I assume that they will also travel south and continue to be part of the bigger story.
