Magic Is Real
Arthur and the Tick continue to search for Lobstercules. They get some help scouring the sewers from a couple other heroes: Bronze Star and Sage. Arthur gets separated from the others and captured by Lobstercules. He finds out that Lobstercules is only committing crimes because her "henchmen" are holding her children hostage.
Joan of Arc joins AEGIS. Arthur tries to protest but he can't explain why he is opposed to her joining AEGIS without breaking the law. Miss Lint wants to become a member of the Flag Five. She decides that she is going to have to do something really impressive to secure a spot on the team.
Superian tries to explain why he carved up Devil's Tower, in a televised interview.
Dot and Overkill examine the human lamp that they took with them. Dot goes to visit her mother while Overkill takes the human lamp to Black Market Bob, who removes the device that was forcing the human lamp's head to think he was a lamp. Overkill then goes looking for the Duke.
The episode ends with Lobstercules running away from the Tick and getting zapped by Joan of Arc.
Thoughts
One of Lobstercules captors is played by Hunter Erery. I know him best from Orange Is the New Black where he played Hopper.
Frank, Miss Lint / Joan of Arc's henchman is still alive. It looked like she was about to kill him in the last episode but I guess not.
Is Lobstercules dead? I think that's what Joan of Arc had in mind but did she zap Lobstercules with enough juice to get the job done? How and when will Joan of Arc's real identity get revealed? Will Dot be back in the next episode? What about Tyrannosaurus Rathbone? Will Overkill catch up to the Duke in the next episode? Will Joan of Arc and the Tick fight before the season is over?
This was fun. I'm halfway through this season. I'm with it until the end even though they probably aren't going to wrap things up.
