Thoughts
To describe this movie in any sort of detail would ruin the magic of the experience watching it. Despite how I have described it above I think of it more as a dark comedy or humorous episode of a Twilight Zone like show than I do a horror film.
I don’t have a clear recollection of seeing this movie before but some of the scenes felt a bit familiar. If I have seen it before then it was probably more than 25 years ago. Maybe I just caught some of it on broadcast TV and never saw the full movie before.
There are a number of actors in this movie that I recognized including Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong, Linda Fiorentino, Teri Garr, John Heard, Catherine O'Hara, Dick Miller, Will Patton, and Bronson Pinchot.
This was a fun ride. There are moments of absurd, dark humor in every episode in this movie. It never settles down. It jumps from one thing to another, from the absurd to the sublime to the ridiculous. I love it.
