Eyewitness to Murder

Steve is waiting for a taxi cab when someone nearby is shot and killed by a sniper. He goes after the sniper but the sniper gets away. Steve turns to Oscar for help. Oscar is a little put out that Steve woke him up in the middle of the night until he learns that the intended target wasn't the man who was killed but Mr. Sandusky, an important attorney in the district attorney's office who is about to bring charges against a bit time mobster.

Oscar and Steve offer assistance where they can. Oscar stays close to Mr. Sandusky while Steve goes looking for the sniper. He catches up to Hopper, the sniper, and the police bring him in for questioning but they are forced to release him when it turns out that Hopper has an airtight alibi. He was on a live broadcast television program on the night that the attempt was made on Sandusky's life.

Doomsday, and Counting

Colonel Vasily Zuchov, an old friend of Steve is visiting the United States when he gets word that there has been an earthquake near Kamkov Island. He rushes to get back there. Steve goes with him.

Vasily and Steve learn, once they get to Kamkov Island, that Irina, Vasily’s fiancée and a computer expert, is trapped in the tunnels beneath the base. The two men, despite being given express orders not to attempt to rescue Irina, grab some gear and head underground. 

Vasily and Steve find Irina. She is unconscious when they find her but she recovers and tells them about the failsafe device on the island that will destroy the entire base in a nuclear blast in less than an hour.

Little Orphan Airplane

A United States spy plane crash lands in Katara, an African country. Steve parachutes into Katara and begins his search for the missing plane and the photographs that the pilot took. The pilot himself is assumed to be dead.

Steve is spotted by a farmer sends who sends his son to report the sighting to the Kataran army. Steve meets a couple of Dutch nuns (Sister Annett and Sister Terese) who lead him to Josh Perkins, the pilot of the spy plane. Perkins is injured. The nuns helped him to hide the damaged airplane.

Day of the Robot

Steve escorts USAF Major Fred Sloan to a test for a new missile defense system that is designed to shoot down incoming missiles. Major Sloan, an old friend of Steve, designed an important component to the missile defense system.

Fred doesn't think he needs an escort but Oscar Goldman insists. A criminal organization led by Gavern Wilson and Doctor Chester Dolenz uses a robot built by Dr. Dolenz to try and steal the components designed by Fred Sloan.

Steve and Fred stop during their drive to the test site at a gas station. Steve doesn't notice it but Fred is kidnapped and replaced by a robot duplicate while they are at the gas station. It isn't until later that Steve realizes that something isn't quite right with Fred.

Operation Firefly

Oscar sends Steve to Spain to look for Karen Abbott, the daughter of Dr. Samuel Abbott, a scientist who has invented a new laser. Dr. Abbott has disappeared. Oscar hopes that Karen, who is known to possess ESP, can help them to locate her father.

Steve makes contact with Karen. She is skeptical at first but after she uses her mental abilities she gets a premonition that her father is in the Everglades she agrees to help Steve find her father.

Steve and Karen survive an attempt on their life while they are in Spain and then travel to Florida. They travel into the Everglades with a guide but they are attacked during their first night in the swamp. Their guide is shot and killed.

Survival of the Fittest

Steve Austin and Oscar Goldman catch a military transport flight to Washington DC. The flight is going through a storm over the Pacific Ocean when it gets struck by lightning. The captain of airplane and his crew manage to land the airplane in the ocean near an island. The captain and crew are killed when the airplane hits the water but everyone else survives the landing.

Two men among the survivors of the crash landing, US Air Force Major Cromwell and US Navy Commander Maxwell have plans to kill Oscar Goldman. They manage to lure Oscar away from Steve but Steve senses that something is wrong in time to come to Oscar's rescue. The major accidentally shoots and kills the commander while they are both trying to gun down Oscar. Steve deals with the major.

Population: Zero

A renegade scientist, Doctor Stanley Bacon, demonstrates the potential of an ultrasonic weapon on the extremely small town of Norris, population 23. Steve Austin, who grew up not far from Norris, goes in to investigate despite orders from Oscar Goldman to stay away from Norris. Steve, not knowing what it is that incapacitated the residents of Norris, goes in wearing his space suit.

Doctor Bacon issues an ultimatum to the US Government demanding ten million dollars or else he will use his ultrasonic weapon on a larger town and that there will be no survivors the second time he strikes. Oscar receives the demand for money. He tries to get authorization to pay up but the higher ups won't approve it.

Steve Austin, the Six Million Dollar Man, teams up with a scientist, Dr. Erica Bergner, to try and locate and rescue an American negotiator. The best lead they have is the body of a man who was killed recently. Dr. Bergner uses an experimental technique (which is approved by Oscar Goldman and Dr. Rudy Wells) to inject herself with some of the brain tissue from the dead man. 

Dr. Bergner gains some of the dead man's memories as a result of the injection. Dr. Bergner and Steve go to Lucerne, Switzerland. OSO Agent Mel Bristo is put in charge of escorting the ransom of $1 Billion in solid gold. While Steve and Dr. Bergner continue to look for the missing negotiator.

Steve Austin is down on his luck after an unsuccessful mission. Tamara, one of the agents with whom he was working, was killed after he was pulled off the mission. Steve wants revenge but Oscar Goldman, his boss, refuses to authorize such a mission. Steve is tricked into going on a vacation to the Bahamas by Harry Donner, an old friend. Goldman is pulling the strings, behind the scenes.

Steve meets a couple of Russians in the Bahamas, Katrina Volana and Alexi Kaslov. Steve and Kaslov met years before when they were involved in their countries' respective space missions. Steve gets some assistance from Cynthia Holland

Steve sneaks around, gets kidnapped by the Russians, and subsequently escapes from the Russians. He locates international arms dealer Arlen Findletter's secret base and then improvises a mission to stop the arms dealer.

Former NASA Astronaut Steve Austin (Lee Majors) is testing an airplane for the Air Force when it malfunctions. He is unable to land the plane safely. He loses his right arm, left eye, and parts of both his legs when he crash lands the plane. Oliver Spencer of the OSO (a covert government agency) offers Dr. Rudy Wells (Martin Balsam), Austin's friend, the means to repair Steve's body.

Rudy pulls Austin out of an induced coma and explains to him what is going to happen but doesn't tell him everything. One day Steve wakes up to find that his arm, his eye, and his legs have been replaced or augmented. It takes him time to learn and get used to his new limbs but now he is stronger and faster than he ever was before.
