We'll Always Have Tom Paris
Tendi and Mariner go on a mission to retrieve a family heirloom for Doctor T'Ana. It is their first mission together. They get the heirloom but then Mariner breaks it. They go to great lengths to try and get it fixed. Their plan falls apart and they return to the Cerritos with the broken heirloom.
Boimler isn't recognized by the ship's computer. He goes to great lengths to get around on board the ship without it recognizing him. He can't even get doors to open for him. He has a commemorative plate that he wants Tom Paris to sign but by the time Boimler meets Lieutenant Paris he (Boimler) looks kind of odd and Paris beats him up because he thinks that Boimler is an intruder.
Shaxs is back. Rutherford wants to know how that's possible. His friends suggest all sorts of possible answers. That's not enough for Rutherford he needs to know why even though it is incredibly bad form to ask someone how they came back from the dead.
Thoughts
There was only a little bit of Captain Freeman and Commander Ransom in this one. Kayshon was not in this episode but I'm pretty sure that he will be back.
What's the deal with Shaxs? I don't think that he's going to be around for very long. Will he get killed again? I want to know but I would rather find out in the course of events.
I love this episode. All three subplots were great. They all made me laugh out loud but I think the Tendi / Mariner one is my favorite.
