Advance on the Mystery Planet
Daiba and Captain Harlock return from the Amazon to the Arcadia. Tadashi goes beserk and launches bomb after bomb at the jungle where the Mazone live. He doesn't stop until Cpatain Harlock pulls him away from the bombing controls.
The Arcadia takes off for space. They are pursued by a Mazone command ship. A battle breaks out once the Mazone ship catches up to the Arcadia. Daiba pilots one of the fighters that is sent out to defend the Arcadia. He gets into a fight with the leader of the Mazone fighters and she almost kills him.
Daiba survives the fight and is brought back to the Arcadia. The fight ends finally when the Arcadia rams the Mazone command ship. The Mazone spaceship is torn to pieces. Doctor Zero analyzes the remains of the Mazone command ship and learns that the Mazone are from Venus.
Thoughts
This show continues to plod forward. It seems like Daiba has to be taught a lesson almost every episode. Bit by bit Captain Harlock learn more and more about the Mazone.
