Morty wants a dragon. Rick reluctantly gets him the dragon. Balthromar, the dragon, is bonded to Morty by a wizard. Rick doesn't like the dragon until they hang out together. They have so much fun that they are magically soul bonded. Morty finds out. Rick, Morty, Summer, and the dragon go looking for the wizard to get him to unbond Rick and the dragon. The wizard isn't very cooperative.
Jerry meets a talking cat. The cat won't explain why or how he can talk. He gets Jerry to take him to Florida.
Thoughts
Beth is barely in this episode.
Matthew Broderick was the voice of the cat.
I enjoyed this episode but it didn't blow my socks off. It was a string of gags loosely held together. There is some indication that the cat might return later in the season.
