Bill gets the biology class lab partner that Sam wanted, Cindy. Sam gets stuck with Gordon, the overweight kid who smells. Cindy invites Bill over after school so they can work on their assignment together. Bill isn't really interested in Cindy but Sam is jealous.
Nick thinks that he and Lindsey are dating now. Lindsey isn't comfortable with the idea but she goes along with it. He invites her to come over to his place on Friday night. His parents and siblings aren't going to be at home. Millie warns her about dating Nick. Her parents warn her about getting pregnant. Mr. Rosso warns her about STDs.
Sam joins the Yearbook club to get closer to Cindy. It seems to work. They wind up working together to try and sell ads for the yearbook. Later she invites him to hangout with her afterschool at a fast food restaurant. Sam thinks everything is going great but then he finds out that she just view him as a friend.
Lindsey goes over to Nick's place. She's nervous because she think he will want to have sex. It turns out he wants to take things slow with her. He doesn't even want to make out. She's disappointed.
Thoughts
I really liked this episode. There were a few scenes that really got me laughing. I love how real it all feels or at least aspects of it do.
