Hit and Run
Jimmy uses the duplicate set of keys he had made for Howard’s car. He steals Howard’s car while Howard is meeting with his therapist. He collaborates with Kim and together they stage an act that looks like Howard kicking a prostitute out his car, where Cliff Davis can see it.
Kim starts to wonder if she is being followed. She confronts two men who she suspects of following her. They apologize and leave but admit to nothing. Jimmy starts to get the cold shoulder from everyone at the courthouse. One of the public defenders tells him that it’s because of his association with a drug cartel murderer.
Jimmy gets a lot of new clients. One of them asks if he is the lawyer for Salamanca. Mike talks to Kim at the El Camino Cafe. He explains that it’s his men that are following her. He’s concerned about Lalo returning. He asks her to ignore his men.
Mike meets with Gus who is very nervous although he hides it pretty well. Mike points out that it has been two weeks and they still have yet to get any indication that Lalo is still around. Jimmy shows Kim the space he has picked out for his new office and then they go to grab a bite to eat at Taco Cabeza.
Thoughts
I thought for a moment that the two men that Kim confronted were DEA. Clearly that's not the case but that's what I thought until Mike showed up at the cafe.
What's next? When does Lalo return? What's the next step in Kim and Jimmy's plan to ruin Howard?
This is another solid episode. Kim's concern, especially after she learned that Lalo may still be alive, was palpable.
