Genesis of the Daleks - Part One

A representative of the Time Lords contacts the Doctor and asks for his help. The Time Lords anticipate that one day the Daleks will grow to become the dominant force in the universe. They want the Doctor to prevent the Daleks from ever coming into being or affect their development so that they do not become quite so efficient and deadly. A third alternative they offer him is to discover some previously unknown vulnerability the Daleks possess.

The Doctor balks at the request but agrees to do it only to discover that he is already on Skaro, home world of the Daleks. The Time Lord representative vanishes. Sarah and Harry arrive moments later. The Doctor and his two companions make their way through a rocky battlefield.
