Pure Evil

Dave wants his job back. He turns over a new leaf, towards that end, and pledges to be pure evil from that point forward. He has Bill do fake interviews with President Bill Clinton on the air. It generates all sorts of publicity for the radio station. Bill winds up testifying before Congress. Jimmy is very happy.

Lisa is too nervous about her new job, as news director, to run a staff meeting. Beth tries to give her advice and pep talks. Lisa either does too much or too little. It probably doesn't help that Matthew has been sleeping in her office since he got evicted from his apartment.

Captain Harlock (1978) 1.05

To the Shores of Distant Stars...

Tadashi wants to contribute as a member of the crew of the Arcadia. Captain Harlock doesn't have an assignment for him right away. He has Kei show him around the ship and to his living quarters. Tadashi is disappointed by the interior of the Arcadia. It isn't as impressive as he thought it would be.

Kim Kelly Is My Friend

Sam gets pushed around by Karen Scarfolli, one of Kim Kelly's friends. Sam's locker is next to her locker and he tries opening her locker by mistake. She writes "GEEK" on his locker in lipstick. He wipes it off. She gets angry when she sees what he did and writes "PYGMY GEEK" on his locker in magic marker.

Invincible 1.01

It's About Time

The episode opens with the Guardians of the Globe, a team of superheroes converging on the White House to prevent the Maulers from assassinating the President of the United States. The team of heroes are joined by Omni-Man another superhero. Together they prevent the Maulers from achieving their goal.

Piece of Shit

Luschek finds a bunch of mail in his in box. A fair amount of it has no name on it but its pretty clear to him who it came from, Nichols. She has been sending him hate letters. They are short and to the point. He tries to brush it off but his conscience is getting the better part of him.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power 4.02

The Valley of the Lost

Queen Glimmer sends Adora, Bow, Huntara, and Perfuma to the Crimson Waste to recover Mara's spaceship. The spaceship isn't where they left it. They find it in the Valley of the Lost. The Horde has it. Catra and Scorpia are there. 

Perfuma is very discouraged because she has trouble controlling cacti and there is nothing but cacti (in terms of plants) in the Crimson Waste. They are counting on her to help them move the spaceship once they finds it.

Glimmer keeps checking in via Bow's tablet. She's very eager to know what kind of progress they are making. Adora doesn't want her to know that they have encountered some setbacks.

The Transfer

Sgt Bilko pushes Col Hall a little too far. He orders that Bilko shut down all extra-curricular activities (raffles, dances, card games, etc.) until further notice. Bilko responds by asking for a transfer to another base. He doesn't expect the colonel will approve it but he does.

Knights of Sidonia 2.04

Rage

Several squads of Gardes prepare for the onslaught of the Gauna cores on Sidonia. Tsumugi is enveloped by Gauna 550 but breaks free. Kunato tries to give Tsumugi orders but she is enraged by what she just went through. She attacks the gauna cores that are headed for Sidonia.

Tsumugi gets overwhelmed. Izana tries to help Tsumugi and is dealt a devastating blow. Tsumugi finally comes to her senses, grabs Izana, and heads back to Sidonia. The Gardes continue to fight the swarm of Gauna. 

The squads of Gardes attack Gauna 550, surround it but then it starts opening up. It reveals a heigus cannon which it then fires right at Sidonia. The Gardes are helpless to stop the blast but Tsumugi somehow deflects the blast so that is misses Sidonia.

Tricks and Treats

Sam decides to go out for Halloween after telling his mother that he is too old for that. Lindsey gets invited to go out with Daniel, Kim, and Nick on Halloween but she tells them she can't because she has to spend the evening handing out candy with her mother. Lindsey changes her mind after she sees Millie making out with her secret boyfriend from bible camp.

John Forbes (Dick Powell) works for the Olympic Mutual Insurance Company. He meets Mona Stevens (Lizabeth Scott) while he is working a case. She received gifts that were bought with stolen money. Forbes is there to take back the gifts. He winds up spending the rest of the day with her. She takes him out on a motor boat that Smiley bought her. They go for drinks and dinner after a spin on the boat.

The Breakup

Felix gets fed up with Oscar and leaves. He tries living with other friends but proves to be incompatible with everyone else. Oscar tries living on his own but he can't stay on top of things without the help of Felix.

We'll Always Have Baltimore

Joe goes to Correcti-Con in Baltimore with Linda. They spend a lot of time hanging out at the convention together. He left Taystee with some filing to do while he is gone. She gets bored with the filing and decides to apply her skills elsewhere. She breaks into his computer and uses it to conduct internet searches. She learns about his band, Sideboob.

Knights of Sidonia 2.03

Course

Captain Kobayashi takes over in the wake of the murder of the immortal council. She has Sidonia head for the Lem System where all out war will be conducted against the Gauna. It is also there that humanity will settle. There are people who protest the decision but they know nothing about the immortal council just that Captain Kobayashi is exercising dictatorial powers.

Nagate and Izana interact with the Chimera some more. Yuhata does some digging and finds some buried information about the Chimera. Kunato Industries supplies the military with some advanced armor. 

NewsRadio 4.09

The Secret of Management

Lisa gets annoyed when Mr. James spends more time with Dave than he does with her, especially considering that she is now Dave's boss. She asks Mr. James to tell her the secret of management, after she discovers he already shared that information with Dave.

Bill hires a butler. Matthew has been rehired but he still doesn't feel as though everyone appreciates having him back.

The Coronation

Glimmer prepares for her coronation. Castaspella, her aunt, puts a lot of pressure on her. Her friends (Adora, Bow, Frosta, Mermista, Perfuma) try to help her get ready but they also get on her nerves a bit. Glimmer has to complete a quest before her coronation. Bow tries to read up on it but he misses a few details. Bow and Adora accompany Glimmer on her quest. It all works out in the end even though they almost get eaten by a giant snake.

Catra is not in Hordak's good graces. He's angry at her for what she did, last season. He continues to push her around. She does the same to Scorpia. Catra gets very angry when Scorpia tries suggesting that they should go to Beast Island to retrieve Entrapta. Catra insists that Entrapta betrayed them.

Beers and Weirs

Mr. and Mrs. Weir go away for the weekend and leave Lindsey and Sam home alone, for the first time. Lindsey mentions it to her new friends and they suggest that they could have a kegger. Lindsey tells Sam her plans. He agrees to not say anything but he feels like he's doing the wrong thing.

Oscar and Felix tell the Pigeon Sisters, their dates, about how they first met. They were serving on a jury together. Oscar was the foreman. Felix was the lone holdout on the jury. Everyone else was ready to vote to convict but Felix was not.

Burset is still in the SHU. It is driving her nuts. She tries something desperate. When that doesn't work she tries more desperate tactics. Caputo finally comes to see her and tries to calm her down. She doesn't listen. She escalates her tactics until the SHU has to be evacuated because she has started a fire.

Bilko finds out that his great-great-uncle Joshua Bilko was a Major in General George Washington's army during the American Revolution. Bilko decides that he has to change. He wants to become an officer and from now on he will do everything by the book.

French Diplomacy

Bill makes an offhand remark on the air. Someone takes Bill's remark to heart and drags the French Ambassador out of his car and beats him. Dave and Lisa try to rectify the situation but it just gets worse. No matter what they try it doesn't make the situation any better.

Beth spots someone spying on them from a building across the street. It turns out to Matthew. They also find out that he had another career before he started working at WNYX, he was a dentist.

Knights of Sidonia 2.02

Ability

Kunato/Ochiai convinces Yure Shinatose to help him. He has begun experimenting with creating Chimera (human/gauna hyrids). He needs Captain Kobayashi's permission so that he can get more resources.

Tsumugi Shiraui, Kunato/Ochiai's first chimera, arrives in time to help Tanikaze and the others to defeat Gauna 549. Tanikaze recognizes the voice of the chimera, it is Hoshijiro.

Kunato/Ochiai introduces the Chimera to the assembled pilots and other people of Sidonia. Tsumugi attempts to be gracious but the people have their doubts. She gets excited when she sees Nagate and starts wagging her tail so violently she causes physical damage to the chamber. The crowd once again rails against the Chimera until Kunato/Ochiai ends the meeting.

Dear White People 3.10

Chapter X

The episode opens with a Dear White People parody called Dear Black People. It purports to be Chapter 1 of a new show. It sticks with the alternate take for about 6 minutes before resuming the regular version of the show.

Samurai Jack 4.03

XLII: Samurai versus Samurai

Jack meets Da Samurai, a loud mouthed man who claims to be a samurai. Da Samurai watches Jack take down a trio of bounty hunter robots but he isn't impressed. He wants to fight. Jack reluctantly agrees but insists that they will fight with bamboo staffs instead of swords. More robots show up to capture or kill Jack after he defeats the Da Samurai. Jack deals with the robots all by himself.

Pilot

Sam Weir is getting bullied Alan, by one of his classmates, when Lindsey. Sam's sister, steps in to break it up. Alan backs off. Neal and Bill, Sam's friends who are geeks like him, were there but they didn't step in to help him. The next day the same things happens at lunch in the school cafeteria. This time Sam calls on one of the teachers to help him. The teacher does but he gives Sam a hard time, after Alan walks off, for not standing up for himself.

Caputo hires Taystee to be his office assistant. She follows him around while he inspects the housing for the new guards. It is old housing that is being refurbished by inmates. She also answers his phone for him although she doesn't fully understand what all buttons are for.

Robots of Death - Part 4

Commander Uvanov saves the doctor by stabbing the robot that's strangling him with a laser probe. The robot isn't destroyed but it is seriously impaired and they escape to the bridge.

Leela finds Toos, who was strangled by a robot. She survived only because the robot thought she was dead and left after receiving ordered from SV7. Leela and Toos make their way to the bridge.

D84 finds Poul and takes him to bridge.

Knights of Sidonia 2.01

Discord

Norio Kunato and Mozuku enter the forbidden area beneath his family's ancestral home. They find Ochiai's lab and they are quickly overpowered by deadly plants. Norio and Mozuku recover but they are no longer themselves. Norio is now Ochiai. They go to the Extraterrestrial Research Division and overpower Numi Tahiro, the scientist who is there keeping an eye on the ena that looks like Hoshijiro. Tahiro's brain is taken over by one of the creatures that Ochiai bred, a Blood Nematode.

Tanikaze learns about the disappearance of the ena that looks like Shizuka. He is down in the dumps. Shinatose doesn't know why he feels sad but tries to cheer him up. They plan a trip to a shrine but then he gets a call from Yuhata. He agrees to meet with Yuhata. Izana decides to go to the shrine by herself. He catches up to her after talking to Yuhata, who tells him the something that Numi told him, not to think about the ena and it was just an ena.

Dear White People 3.09

Chapter IX

Brooke continues to try and get Muffy's story. Muffy won't talk to her. 

Troy and Abigail hire Al to work on Fried Chicanery, the magazine they are starting. They try to recruit Lionel but he isn't eager to join them. Troy turns to James for funding and talks him into it until he sees what they've got planned.

Doctor Who (1963) 14.05.03

The Robots of Death - Part 3

Dask prevetns the sandminer from overheating by cutting some of the primary circuits. The engines stop running as do the life support systems. Dask goes down to the engine rooms to get things working again. Poul explains why he had Commander Ulanov locked up. He suspects that Ulanov killed Zilda. He goes on to explain that Ulanov has killed before. Poul was there and saw it happen, as was Kerel. The man who Ulanov killed was Zilda's brother.

The Doctor goes to find D84. He tells Leela to keep an eye on Poul, the Doctor doesn't trust him. Poul tricks Leela and locks her in a room. The Doctor finds D84 and has a chat with him. He learns, from D84, about Taran Cappell, a genius in the field of robotics. The doctor surmises that Cappell must be aboard the sandminer.

Samurai Jack 4.02

XLI: Robo-Samurai versus Mondo-Bot

Jack battles Mondo-Bot, a giant killer robot. He is almost killed but a couple of human-sized robots save him. Mondo-Bot was built to defend their city, Andromeda, but something went wrong. Mondo-Bot now tries to destroy all he sees.
