Felix gets fed up with Oscar and leaves. He tries living with other friends but proves to be incompatible with everyone else. Oscar tries living on his own but he can't stay on top of things without the help of Felix.

Oscar and Felix tell the Pigeon Sisters, their dates, about how they first met. They were serving on a jury together. Oscar was the foreman. Felix was the lone holdout on the jury. Everyone else was ready to vote to convict but Felix was not.

Oscar gets a black eye from a professional hockey player. Felix insists on confronting the hockey player and winds up challenging the man to a boxing match, after he inadvertently angers the professional athlete.
