Oscar and Felix tell the Pigeon Sisters, their dates, about how they first met. They were serving on a jury together. Oscar was the foreman. Felix was the lone holdout on the jury. Everyone else was ready to vote to convict but Felix was not.
Felix tied the jury up long enough that they wind up being sequestered. Oscar and Felix wind up having to share a hotel room for the night.
Thoughts
Barney Martin plays Mr. Moss, a member of the jury, and is best known to me for playing the part of Morty Seinfeld on Seinfeld in the 1990s. He was a regular on the Tony Randall Show in the mid to late 1970s. His earliest on screen acting work according to IMDB was an uncredited part on Episode 1.06 of the Phil Silvers Show. He appears in one more episode of the Odd Couple, during the 5th Season playing a different character.
There's something abut this show and this episode. It isn't perfect or great but I really like the characters of Oscar and Felix and how they act and interact.
