Course
Captain Kobayashi takes over in the wake of the murder of the immortal council. She has Sidonia head for the Lem System where all out war will be conducted against the Gauna. It is also there that humanity will settle. There are people who protest the decision but they know nothing about the immortal council just that Captain Kobayashi is exercising dictatorial powers.
Nagate and Izana interact with the Chimera some more. Yuhata does some digging and finds some buried information about the Chimera. Kunato Industries supplies the military with some advanced armor.
Gauna 550 is spotted. It is enormous. The Chimera tries taking it on solo but falls into a trap. A formation of 96 Gardes, who were initially supposed to accompany the Chimera, is sent in to deal with the Gauna.
Thoughts
I'm definitely not as invested in this season as I was in the previous one. There's still time. It might grow on me but right now I'm not feeling it.
