Sam decides to go out for Halloween after telling his mother that he is too old for that. Lindsey gets invited to go out with Daniel, Kim, and Nick on Halloween but she tells them she can't because she has to spend the evening handing out candy with her mother. Lindsey changes her mind after she sees Millie making out with her secret boyfriend from bible camp.
Lindsey goes out with her friends, as planned, even though her mother wanted her to stick around and help her hand out candy. Sam goes trick or treating with Neal and Bill. Lindsey and her friends smash pumpkins and mail boxes. Sam and his friends get their candy stolen from them by Alan and his friends. Lindsey throws eggs at Sam before she realizes who she is egging.
Lindsey tries apologizing to Sam but he doesn't want to hear it. He walks home alone covered in eggs. He doesn't tell their parents that Lindsey was one of the ones who egged him.
Thoughts
There was lot more humor than drama in this one. I love some of the little moments. Bill dresses up as Jamie Sommers, the Bionic Woman. Neal dresses up Groucho Marx. Sam dresses up as the robot from the Day the Earth Stood Still.
