Be Right Back
Martha loses Ash, her boyfriend. He is killed in a car accident. She learns soon afterwards that she's pregnant. She grieves until she learns about a service that uses A.I. to create a facsimile of a lost loved one.
It starts with text messages, then moves to conversations over the phone, and then finally she pays for an android copy of Ash. At first it is wonderful but then she starts spotting the differences and realizes that it isn't the same.
This story feels incomplete. It feels like something was left out. It's about grieving and I guess that maybe that's how it should be interpreted. I wasn't crazy about it.
