Mr. Robot 1.03

I almost didn't finish watching this episode. I lost interest most of the way through. It feels too melodramatic. The characters don't feel grounded or real. The situation isn't relatable enough. I can understand the paranoia but not the degree to which it manifests in this show.

I think I am going to put this show down for now. I feel as though I have given the show a chance. It doesn't really speak to me.

Elliot meets with Tyrell who wants him to leave AllSafe and join Evil Corp. Tyrell promises to make him rich. Elliot says no thank you.

Elliot goes home and hacks Tyrell’s accounts. It seems too easy. He freaks. He thinks Tyrell must have let him. He destroys his machines. I love this part of the show, the paranoia. Elliot or at least the actor playing him and the way the show is produced totally sells Elliot’s fears.

Elliot lives in New York City. He is a cyber security expert. He works for AllSafe, a cyber security company. It seems as though he has trouble interacting with others. He doesn't like to be touched. He keeps tabs on his therapist. He doesn't approve of the men she dates. He missed his friend Angela's birthday party. He doesn't like her boyfriend.
