Tinker Tailor Older Guy
Charles (Ted Danson) gets a job working for Julie, a private investigator. His job is to move into a retirement community and take pictures and videos which she can use to try and figure out if someone stole her client's mother's necklace.
Charles, a widower and a retired professor of engineering, was content to sit at home and read the newspaper. He only took the job because Emily, his daughter, challenged him to find something to occupy his time outside of the house.
She calls him at the end of the episode to see how he's doing. He tells her he found something to do but then doesn't tell her the truth about what he's doing.
The only actor aside from Ted Danson that I recognized from something else was Eugene Cordero. I've heard his voice most recently in Star Trek: Lower Decks where he is the voice of Rutherford.
I really enjoyed this episode. I laughed a few times. I will be watching more of this show. There are just eight episodes in this season. I believe that there will be at least one more season.
