This documentary takes a look back at Jaws (1975). Dozens of people were interviewed, some of them were involved in the making of the movie, some were not. There is both new and archival footage of interviews.
The movie is approached from a number of different angles. Some of the subjects covered include the casting, music, screenwriting, acting, special effects, and setting.
I think that there was a little too much of Emily Blunt in this documentary and way too much of Steven Soderbergh. I guess he's in it because he's working on a book about Jaws. She's in it because the movie inspired her to become an actor. I just didn't feel like either of them added enough to justify the number of clips there were of them talking about Jaws.
This is not a great documentary. It was okay. It felt very much like an advertisement for the movie, but one that spoils the end to the movie that it is pushing.
