Marc (Michel Piccoli) and Lars hire Alex (Denis Lavant) to help them pull a heist. Alex leaves Lise, his girlfriend, and moves in with Marc and Anna (Juliette Binoche) while they are getting ready to do the job. Alex gets into an argument with Marc and Marc has a stroke or heart attack. Did I mention that Marc is about 60 years old? Alex flirts with Anna while Marc is recovering.

Adventure Time 4.23

The Hard Easy

Finn and Jake help some mud scamps who are scared of a mega frog that has been attacking them. They hunt in the swamp for the mega frog but it finds them. It follows them into a cave where Finn figures out what the mega frog needs.

Thoughts

I love the scene where Finn and Jake try to get a fire started by rubbing sticks together.

This was a less weird than many episodes.

Steven Universe 1.20

Coach Steven

Pearl insists that she and Steven return home early from a mission. Garnet and Amethyst merged to form Sugilite which is getting the job done but wrecking all sorts of havoc in the process. Steven decides, after returning to Beach City that he needs to work out. Steven gets his father, Lars, and Sadie to join him in working out.

Sugilite eventually returns and it is up to Pearl to get her to split up into Garnet and Amethyst once again.

Thoughts

My expectations were raised after I learned that Garnet and Amethyst were about to merge. What followed didn't exactly live up to what I hoped I would get. This wasn't a bad episode but it wasn't great either. It felt like a mishmash of different things.

Ansleme takes a couple men and cuts the phone lines into Villeneuve. Marguerite seduces Rainer and takes him back to her bedroom. She gets his keys and hands them off to Lucienne, who sneaked into the room. Lucienne goes to the radio room and disables the radio using instructions that Marguerite gave her.

Someone calls the German HQ in Villeneuve pretending to be the German outpost in Moissey, the next town over and saying that they were being overrun by terrorists. Kollwitz takes most of the German soldiers in Villeneuve and heads to Moissey.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine 1.01

Emissary

Commander Benjamin Sisko assumes command of Deep Space Nine, a Starfleet outpost near the planet Bajor, soon after the Cardassians have agreed to stop occupying the planet. Sisko is a survivor of the battle at Wolf 359 (see Star Trek: The Next Generation 4.01) during which he lost his wife. The space station is in rough shape but in the process of being fixed up when Sisko arrives with Jake, his son.

Sisko meets with several people aboard the space station:

• Miles O'Brien - who is in the process of transferring over from the Enterprise
• Major Kira - the Bajoran liaison to the station
• Odo - the station's security chief
• Quark - a Ferengi gambler and thief who runs a bar aboard the station
• Captain Picard of the Enterprise
• Kai Opaka - the spiritual leader of the Bajoran people
• Doctor Bashir - the station's new chief medical officer
• Lieutenant Dax - an old friend of Sisko's whose appearance is a bit deceiving

Batman Beyond 3.09

Betrayal

Terry's friend Charlie (aka Big Time) breaks out of prison and robs an armored car. His partner in crime is the Major, someone he met while in prison. Charlie feels alone and has a couple of the Major's flunkies kidnap Terry and bring him to the Major's hideout.

Terry loses his bat suit during the abduction. He escapes from the Major's hideout but Charlie catches up to him. Terry talks to Charlie and convinces him to turn himself in. Charlie agrees but only after the Major has been taken into custody.

The police catch the Major and his henchmen but Charlie goes back on his word. Terry gets his uniform back and takes on Charlie. They fight on a suspension bridge. Charlie ends up falling from the bridge.

The Bondsman 1.05

Slypharis

Midge gets the backstory spotight. She was an up and coming entrepreneur baker when her infant son got sick with cancer. She was desperate for money. She turned to Pot o' Gold when no one else with the resources to help her came forward. She signed on the dotted line and her son got better.

Hub does some digging. He finds out about Midge's past. He tries talking to her but she doesn't trust him. She sends him packing but he leaves her some paperwork to consider.

Hub gets an alert about a demon that's near a lake. The demon is gone by the time that Hub gets to the lake. He has an idea of where to find it. He heads there. He's shooting at the demon with his hunting rifle, from a distance when someone rams his truck knocking it over and knocking him out.

Hub wakes up and sees Lucky bearing down on him just before Lucky knocks him out.

Star Trek (1966) 1.14

The Balance of Terror

Captain Kirk is preparing to officiate at a wedding on board the Enterprise when the crew of the Enterprise is forced to postpone the ceremony and rush to the aid of Earth bases. Two bases along the neutral zone separating Earth space from the Romulan Empire have been attacked and destroyed.

The Enterprise approaches a third base in time to talk to the commander. The third base was similarly attacked. It is destroyed before the Enterprise can get within range to help defend the base.

The Enterprise catches sight of the attacking Romulan ship momentarily and pursues it as it heads towards the neutral zone. This begins a deadly game of cat and mouse as first the Enterprise and then the Romulan vessel chase and fire upon one another.

Star Trek: Lower Decks 1.10

No Small Parts

The Cerritos is getting ready to leave Beta III when Captain Freeman discovers that Mariner and Boimler are still on the planet. Boimler breaks the news to Mariner that he knows that the captain is her mother just as the Cerritos is trying to contact them. Everyone aboard learns the secret pretty quickly and starts treating Marniner like royalty.

The Cerritos gets a distress call from the USS Solvang. They rush in to help but it is too late. The Solvang has been destroyed by a Pakled ship which is in the process of salvaging pieces from the Solvang. The Pakled ship quickly turns its attention toward the Cerritos and starts to rip it apart.

Doctor Who (1963) 12.04.04

Genesis of the Daleks - Part Four

The Doctor is knocked unconscious by the electric fence. He wakes up as the Kaled Dome is about to be destroyed. He unsuccessfully tries to interfere with rocket launch and the Kaled Dome is destroyed. The Doctor is set free to do as he pleases.

Davros watches the destruction of the Kaled Dome from the safety of the bunker. He acts as if he had nothing to do with it and swears in front of the assembled scientists that the traitor who helped the Thals will be found and punished. Minutes later Davros accuses Ronson of being the traitor who betrayed the Kaleds to the Thals and has the Daleks execute the scientist in front of the others.

Schitt's Creek 4.05

RIP Moira Rose

A story circulates on the internet that Moira is dead. Large quantities of flowers and gift baskets pour in. David and Alexis go to visit Heather who makes goat cheese, which David hopes to sell in his store. Heather is dating Ted which leads to an awkward meal with all four of them. Roland asks Johnny to be the godfather to his child.

Thoughts

I really enjoyed this episode. All three story lines made me laugh. Best episode of the season so far. I loved how uncomfortable things got at lunch for Alexis and Ted.

Attack on Titan 1.01

To You, in 2000 Years: The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 1

Eren and Mikasa return from gathering wood outside the city walls. They arrive in time to see the return of a scout unit. Eren aspires to become a scout. His father is a doctor, his mother insists that he give up on his idea of joining the scouts.

It has been 100 years since the last time the city was attacked by titans. Eren thinks that people have become complacent. It is then that the titans strike. A huge titan tears a hole in the city's massive walls. Everyone in the city panics. Carla, Eren's mother, is badly injured and trapped inside their home.

One of the city's guardsmen comes to help. He listens to Carla and grabs Eren and Mikasa and runs away from the titan. Eren watches in horror (as he is carried away from the collapsed home) as his mother is picked up and eaten by the titan.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 4.25

In Theory

The Enterprise enters a dark matter nebula, the Mar Oscura. Strange things start happening. Parts of the ship phase out of existence for moments. One crew member gets killed when she slips partway through a deck and then gets stuck between decks when it rematerializes.

Lieutenant Jenna D'Sora develops a crush on Lieutenant Commander Data. This is soon after she has broken up with another member of the crew. She tries pursuing a relationship with Data. She makes it clear that she likes him. He tries to reciprocate her feelings, in his own un-emotional way, and finds that she needs more than he seems to be capable of giving her.

Black Mirror 1.03

The Entire History of You

Liam, like many people has a Grain, an implant that records everything he sees. He becomes obsessed with the attention that Fi, his wife, is paying to Jonas, another guest at a dinner party they attend. Liam's obsession pushes him to interrogate Fi after they get home that night. He learns that Fi had a fling with Jonas before she and Liam met.

The next day Liam goes to see Jonas and violently forces him to delete all his memories of Fi. When Liam gets home he interrogates Fi some more.

Thoughts

This is dark through and through. There is nothing upbeat about this episode. I guess that there's a message here about some people not being able to deal with the impact that technology has on their lives.

Oliver Bradford (Robert Young) and Beatrice Alexander make plans, on the eve of World War II, to spend their honeymoon in the New England cottage where Laura Pennington (Dorothy McGuire) works. Oliver is about to join the Army Air Corps and gets called up before he and Beatrice can get married.

Olive returns from the war scarred. He moves into the cottage. He contemplates suicide. He is pulled back from the brink through his relationships with Laura and John Hillgrove (a neighbor).

Adventure Time 4.20

You Made Me

The Earl of Lemongrab is acting creepy. Princess Bubblegum hires the Pup gang to stay with him, keep him company but he locks them up and returns to him creepy ways. Princess Bubblegum, Finn, and Jake visit his castle. She makes a new friend for Lemongrab, while Finn and Jake are trying to rescue the Pup Gang from the dungeon.

Thoughts

This episode isn't quite as weird as some other episode but it is still out there.

Steven Universe 1.19

Rose's Room

Steven gets angry at the Crystal Gems after they first don't have time to spend with him and then interrupt a video game. He finds how to access his mother's room. When he leaves the room he finds himself in a dark version of Beach City. He eventually makes it back to the reality he knows and loves.

Thoughts

This was an interesting episode. I'm curious to see how Rose's room figures into future episodes.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 4.11

Data's Day

Data narrates a message to Commander Maddox about his day on the Enterprise. The most significant events are (1) the upcoming marriage of Miles O'Brien and Keiko Ishikawa and (2) the presence of ambassador T'Pel whom the Enterprise is transporting to a meeting with representatives of the Romulan Empire.

The wedding almost doesn't happen because Keiko has second thoughts about marrying Miles. It isn't clear what it is that causes her to (temporarily) call off the wedding but she does.

Daniel is thrown in the same cell as Marcel, after he's been tortured some. Marcel does his best to help his brother but they wind up arguing a little bit. Marcel asks him about Gustave and tells Daniel about Tequiero's father.

Raymond talks Marie into having sex with him, away from the group. Antoine goes looking for Marie and spots them and what they are doing. Antoine is cold towards Marie, when everyone finally gets back together to continue practicing the play. He decides that they should have a parade instead of a play. Marie is against it but most of the others seem to like the idea, except for Claude.

The Bondsman 1.04

Erdos

Hub kills another demon, Erdos. This one killed a sheriff's deputy and took over his body. Hub catches up to Erdos in a hardware store. Maryanne, wants to talk to Hub. She catches up to him as he is searching for Erdos. It isn't until after Erdos has been dealt with that he gets a chance to explain what's been going on and explain to her that Lucky is the one who killed him.

Beth Halloran plants evidence in Lucky's office and then tips off the police. Hub talks Maryanne into going on the road with Cade. He says he will let them know when it's safe to some back to town.

Schitt's Creek 4.04

Girls' Night

Moira learns that Alexis is still interested in Ted. David is teased by Patrick and Stevie until he admits that he's lousy at compromising. Roland makes some suggestions to Johnny as to how he could improve the lobby area of the motel.

Thoughts

This was a decent episode. It feels like there will be some future payoff for some of the stuff that happened in this episode, probably by the end of the season.

Doctor Who (1963) 12.04.03

Genesis of the Daleks - Part Three

Sarah doesn't fall very far. Sevrin, one of the Mutos, encourages her to get up and keep climbing up the scaffolding. She and Sevrin make it up to the nose cone of the rocket but before they can make it any further they are stopped by a couple of armed guards who climbed up after them.

The Doctor and Harry make it to the Kaled dome where they talk to some of the Kaled leaders. Mogran, the leader who convenes the meeting agrees to talk to Davros, hold an investigation, and bring a halt to all experiments in the Bunker until the investigation has been completed.

The Doctor and Harry make their way to the Thal dome, in search of Sarah, with some help from Ravon who now seems to be on the same side as them.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 4.03

Brothers

Data takes over the Enterprise in the midst of a medical emergency. He locks everyone out of the bridge and prevents them from taking control of the Enterprise from anywhere else aboard the ship, in part by impersonating Captain Picard's voice.

Data flies the Enterprise to Turlina III where he meets Dr. Noonien Soong, his creator. Soong was believed to be dead. Soong summoned Data who remembers nothing from the time that he received the summons until Soong released him. Dr. Soong explains that he is dying and talks to Data about Data's chosen career path. Soong had hoped that Data would become a scientist. 

Star Trek: Lower Decks 1.09

Crisis Point

Mariner violates the Prime Directive (never to interfere with the natural development of a civilization). Captain Freeman orders her to go to therapy. Mariner follows her orders but questions the value of the sessions.

Boimler is preparing for his evaluation with Captain Freeman. He programs the holodeck to help him prepare for the interview. Mariner, Tendi, and Rutherford are also in the holodeck when Boimler takes over. Mariner reprograms the holodeck to use the data that Boimler had collected and creates a movie experience for them to enjoy, Crisis Point: The Rise of Vindicta.

Inuyasha 1.27

The Lake of the Evil Water God

Kagome, Sango, Kirara, Inuyasha, Miroku, and Shippo offer to help a village of people who are getting ready to sacrifice one of their children to an evil water god. They team up with the young son of leader of the village. He fills them in on some of the details of the situation.

Inuyasha fights the evil water god, who turns out to be a fake, while Sango and Miroku find the real water god who turns out to be a water goddess. The fake water god still has her trident. She needs it to set things right. Inuyasha and the others battle with the fake water god until they get the trident back to the water goddess.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 3.16

The Offspring

Data creates an android which he names Lal. He allows it to choose its appearance. It chooses to look like a young, adult, human female. It looks more human than Data. 

Data instructs Lal as she starts to learn. He tries enrolling her in classes with humans but she does not possess the knowledge or experience to interact with most other humans. Data takes Lal to Ten Forward and places Lal under Guinan's supervision. The job allows her to learn by observing human behavior.

In 1880, three men rob a bank in Sonora, Mexico. One of them is killed during the robbery. The two surviving bank robbers, Dad Longworth (Karl Malden) and Rio (Marlon Brando), escape into the desert but they only have one horse and Rurales (mounted police) are on their tail. Dad takes the one horse, after they talk about it, and goes to get a couple fresh horses while Rio stays behind to hold off the Rurales.

Dad gets the horses but then changes his mind and doesn't go back. He takes off with the money he has on a fresh horse. Rio gets arrested by the Rurales and spends the next five years in prison in Mexico.

Moonlighting 3.02

The Man Who Cried Wife

James Bower hires David and Maddie to figure out what's going on with Melissa, his wife. He thought he killed her a week ago but he's been getting phone calls from her since the night he killed her.

James went back to the spot where he buried her body but it wasn't there. He doesn't know what to do. Maddie is okay taking the case until she learns that he hit and killed his wife. Maddie wants to drop the case. She wants David to drop it too but he insists on pursuing it.

David stays on the case despite Maddie's orders to back off. He has a wire tap set up. The next time James gets a call from Melissa he gets the number and address from where she is calling. David, Maddie, and James head out there but things kind of go sideways when Melissa spots them and takes off in her car.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 2.09

The Measure of a Man

Captain Picard runs into an old acquaintance, Captain Phillipa Louvois, while the Enterprise is visiting Starbase 173. The reunion is interrupted by Admiral Nakamura who has business to conduct with Captain Picard. Nakamura brings Commander Bruce Maddox with him aboard the Enterprise. Maddox has orders from Starfleet giving him authority to experiment on Data.

Data finds flaws in what Maddox plans to do. Data suggests that Maddox needs to do more research and come back when he is more prepared to proceed with his proposed experiments. Maddox takes issue with Data's objection and insists that Starfleet has given him the authority to with Data as he sees fit.

The Phil Silvers Show 4.12

Bilko's Secret Mission

Bilko, Ritzik, and Bilko's platoon get sent to Yucca Flats, near Las Vegas, for a few days. Bilko spends the whole time there trying to scheme a way to get off base so that he can spend some time in Vegas.

Thoughts

George Kennedy and Dean Martin made brief uncredited appearances in this episode.

This was okay. Nothing terribly special.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 1.12

Datalore

The Enterprise visits Omicron Theta, the world where Data was found over 20 years earlier. Omicron Theta once had a human colony of over 400 people but it has been abandoned for decades.

An away team consisting of Data, Commander Riker, Lt. Geordi La Forge, Lt. Tasha Yar, and Lt. Worf beams down to the planet. They find the pieces of what looks like an exact duplicate of Data. They bring it back to the Enterprise and Mister Argyle (from engineering) and Doctor Crusher assemble it.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 1.05

Where No One Has Gone Before

Something goes wrong when Kosinski, a visiting propulsion specialist, is upgrading the Enterprise's warp drive. The Enterprise travels faster and farther than any ship has ever traveled before and winds up so far from where they were that it would take them over 300 years to get back.

Kosinski attempts to get the Enterprise back to where it is but the starship winds up somewhere even stranger looking. Wesley Crusher was in engineering at the time and noticed something strange about Kosinki's assistant who is an alien, only identified as the Traveller. Wesley tries to tell Commander Riker but Riker won't listen and only considers the possibility after he witnesses the phenomenon himself.

Adventure Time 4.19

Lady & Peebles

Princess Bubblegum goes on a quest to find Finn and Jake. They have been missing for three weeks and were last seen battling Ice King. Lady Rainicorn accompanies PBG on her quest but when Lady R is knocked out of the fight it is up to Princess Bubblegum to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Thoughts

This was pretty good but insanely weird.

Steven Universe 1.18

Beach Party

The sign above Fish Stew Pizza gets damaged when the Crystal Gems are fighting a very large pufferfish. Kofi Pizza, the owner of the dining establishment, bans them from his restaurant.

Steven organizes a beach party for the Crystal Gems and the Pizza family. Everyone is having fun but then the pufferfish shows up again and tries to ruin everything. The Crystal Gems and the Pizza family work together to defeat the rude puffer fish.

Thoughts

Not bad but it feels like something is missing. Why were they fighting the pufferfish in the first place? Did it attack Beach City?

Les Trois Coups

or The Three Blows

Antoine and the others shoot their way out of the German headquarters. They all make it out except Marcel. He volunteers to stay behind. The others all make it back to the camp in the woods. They come up with a plan to bribe a German judge to commute Marcel's death sentence to life in prison.

Marcel gets tortured by the Germans, by Müller and by another German officer who thinks that he can teach Müller a thing or two about torture. Eventually Marcel is returned to a cell. He is joined, not long after that, by Alberto Rodrigues, another man who is part of the Resistance. He is also Tequiero's father.

The Rockford Files (1974)

Sara Butler (Lindsay Wagner) hires ex-con and private investigator Jim Rockford (James Garner) to figure out who killed her father, after the police abandon the case. Rockford turns to Angel, another ex-con, and LAPD Detective Dennis Becker for some help with digging up some information on Sara's father and Mildred Elias. a woman who seems to have taken a curious interest in Sara's brother.

The Bondsman 1.03

Marphos

Hub gets his ex-wife Maryanne to let him drive Cade, their son, to school. Hub tells Cade about Lucky's criminal underworld dealings. Hub gets a new assignment, which his mother relays to him, while they are on their way to school. He detours and goes to the location where the demon is supposed to be but it isn't there.

Hub's mother warned him that the demon likes water. He heads to the county pool, with his son. Cade stays in the car. Hub fights and kills the demon, in the county swimming pool.

The episode ends with a flashback to a month prior when Hub was burying the body of a woman who looked very much like Maryanne out in the woods.

Batman Beyond 3.08

The Call - Part Two

Batman shares with Barda, Aquagirl, Green Lantern, and Warhawk what he learned about Superman. The team confronts Superman and wind up fighting with him. They don't get the answer they are looking for and Superman flees when the going gets tough.

The team follows Superman to the Fortress of Solitude. They get there via Barda's mother box which creates a boom tube. They find Superman and another fight breaks out. This time they subdue him using the Kryptonite that Batman brought with him. When Superman's shirt is removed they see a very large starfish attached to his chest.

The starfish is from another planet and the last of its kind. It was captured by The Preserver. Superman later brought it and other creatures to the Fortress of Solitude. He didn't know what else to do with them so he kept them there in his zoo.

Schitt's Creek 4.03

Asbestos Fest

Moira has trouble getting herself worked up to perform at Asbestos Fest. Roland tries to convince Johnny to hire him to do odd jobs about the motel. David and Patrick discover, thanks to Alexis, that the teens who have been hanging around their store have been shoplifting.

Thoughts

This was okay. I might have chuckled a few times but I don't recall laughing harder than that.

Doctor Who (1963) 12.04.02

Genesis of the Daleks - Part Two

Sarah Jane watches Davros, the Dalek, and the others leave. She isn't noticed by them but a group of Mutos finds her. One of them wants to kill her, another Muto objects. They are interrupted by a Thal patrol. Sarah and the Muto who protected her are taken prisoner.

The Doctor and Harry are examined first by the military. They remove the time ring that the Time Lord gave to the Doctor. Harry and the Doctor are then taken to Ronson, one of the scientists for interrogation.

Davros interrupts the interrogation to demonstrate the latest Mark III travel machine (Dalek) as they are being called at this time. It is armed. It almost kills the Doctor and Harry but Ronson intervenes. Davros is very angry.

Star Trek: The Next Generation 7.15

Lower Decks

Four ensigns serving aboard the Enterprise await the outcome of evaluations. They all hope to get promoted. They are mentored by or serve under different members of the crew. 

Sam Lavelle (Human) serves on the bridge under Commander Riker. He tries to ingratiate himself on Riker, who isn't terribly impressed with him.

Sito Jaxa (Bajoran) serves under and is mentored by Lieutenant Worf. He pushes her to do her best including at least one test which she objects to because it is clearly unfair.

Star Trek: Lower Decks 1.08

Veritas

The bridge crew (Freeman, Ransom, Shaxs, T'ana, Billups) are put on trial on the planet K'Tuevon Prime and the lower decks crew (Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, Rutherford) are called to testify. One by one the lower deck crew members tell their version of what they remember. There were lots of aliens including Romulans, Vulcans, and Q. There was a secret mission into the neutral zone. There was a Roluman bird of prey. There was a tank of eels. In the end it turns out to be much ado about nothing.

Bleach 1.20

Gin Ichimaru's Shadow

The episode opens in the Soul Society. Byakuya is once again shown informing Rukia of her fate. He runs into a couple of the other squad captains of the Soul Society after he leaves the jail in which she is kept.

Ichigo continues his final lesson, beneath Urahara's shop. Urahara chases Ichigo and chops to pieces what is left of the blade and handguard of his Zanpakutō. All that he has left is the hilt.

Ichigo stops, in the midst of the chase, when he hears his sword's spirit calling out to him. It tells him to call its name, Zangetsu. He does and its blade is restored. He turns and easily knocks Uraha's hat off his head, thus ending the lesson.

Moonlighting 3.01

The Son Also Rises

David Addison, Sr. comes to town. He's there because he is getting married. David Addison, Jr. avoids his father at first but Maddie works it so that Jr. has to talk to Sr. David learns that his father is getting remarried. He's delighted until he meets Stephanie, his father's bride to be.

David Jr. had a one-night-stand with Stephanie, years ago. He tells Maddie about how he met Stephanie (the first time around) and how he can't imagine Stephanie being his father's wife. He goes on a drinking binge but he recovers in time for the wedding. Maddie goes as his plus one.

David is his father's best man. David pulls Stephanie aside in the middle of the ceremony. He has to talk to her about what happened between them four years ago. She misunderstands and tells him about how she used to regularly get drunk and pick up men in a bar back in Philly. She also tells him about how she met his father.

Selina Kyle (Michelle Pfeiffer), secretary to Gotham industrialist (and all around bad guy) Max Shreck, displeases her boss one too many times. He pushes her out a window. She falls several stories but miraculously comes back to life. She designs herself a costume and starts calling herself Catwoman.

Bing lives in a world where he rides an exercise bicycle for a living. He earns merits riding the bicycle for a living. He uses those merits to pay for everything he wants and needs. He has a little over fifteen million merits.

Bing meets Abi, a woman who also rides an exercise bicycle for a living. She has a really nice singing voice. He encourages her to go on Hot Shot, a talent search type show. She doesn't have the money but he does. He insists that she take it. Abi refuses at first but Bing keeps encouraging her to and eventually she agrees to take the money.

Pricess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and many others escape the Empire's latest attempt to capture them (after a battle on Hoth) by the skin of their teeth.

Who Would Win

Jake and Finn decide that they must train so they can defeat The Farm, a champion fighter. Jake doesn't take the training seriously. Finn gets angry at him and they get into a fight. Jake gets angry at Finn because he breaks his portable gaming device.

Finn and Jake get worn out fighting each other and pass out. They experience a shared dream in which they are given the key to defeating The Farm.

Thoughts

The Farm is a huge guy who wears a barn as his only article of clothing.

This was fun.

Steven Universe 1.17

Lion 2: The Movie

Steven and Connie have plans to go see Dogcopter 3 in 3-D. Steven says that Lion will take them there. Lion takes them somewhere else, through a magical portal, to a cavern. They are trapped there for a time but they eventually make it to the movie theater. A creature from the cavern follows them. They defeat it using a combination of Lion's magic and Connie's tennis skills.

Thoughts

Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl are in the opening minutes of this episode but it is mostly Steven, Connie, and Lion.

I like this episode. It doesn't completely make sense but it works for me.
